This is such a great store. Some of my favorite clothing came from my grandmother- who's a well-traveled artist with a great, classic sense of style. She has beautiful pieces, some dating back to the 20s, that she's taken incredible care of. Shopping here feels just like going through her closet.

Such a gem! I have found great things here like: -a vintage 60s party dress to wear as a bridesmaid dress -an 80s Oscar de la Renta dress to wear as a wedding guest -an amazing handknit cowichan sweater for my husband -the perfect tiny vintage Hawaiian shirt for my toddler I especially appreciate the size labels on the hangers and the waistline inches on the tags. That helped me target try-ons appropriately, especially since vintage sizes and modern sizes can be pretty different.

I love the Lucky Vintage on the ave and finally made it into this location. I found a beautiful silk dress from the 60’s that I adore. It was $50 which is a decent price for great quality vintage. They have a mix of high end and low end pieces. Some designer that you have to ask to see. The person who checked us out was the most lovely and gentle soul. I am giving this experience four stars because the lighting in this store is so dim that I could barely see if the dress I was buying was red of fuchsia. I thought I lived like a mole, going about my days with only the light of a lamp or candle feeling but this store had me second guessing my sight! A few more lights in the back would really make a difference! That being said I will still return, just maybe with a flashlight.

This is by far my favorite vintage clothing shop in Seattle. I’ve been consistently shopping here for many years and it’s a rare occasion that I don’t walk out the door without purchasing something. The owners and clerks are kind people who have a thorough knowledge and passion for vintage. It’s been so lovely to see them get the recognition from the larger vintage community in the US and to see them grow to have a large online presence. I hope they stay around for many years. A mix of pricing starting from $20 up but all super reasonable for the care they put into their selection. They have the cutest selection of kids/babies clothes that *warning* may cause baby fever.

Cool store, but unfortunate staff encounter tonight. Would like to shop there again, but not interested in being asked to move to accommodate her because she can’t figure out how to go around me. I’m not small but my money spends the same. It’s ok to take four extra steps to go one aisle over and not vocalize that I’m interfering in your stocking. It was one item…not a dolly stacked with boxes for goodness sakes. Finally asked if I was bothering her because it kept happening and just left. Felt so unwelcome. Will just enjoy window shopping so as to keep her aisles clear of my presence for efficient stocking capabilities.

I absolutely love this place. I pop in to this cozy vintage shop whenever I am out and about on Ballard Ave. The other day I truly left wearing an entirely new outfit - pants, sweater, and heels. Cannot recommend this place enough.

My experience here was a weird one. It's a really well merchandised store, and their stock is decent which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. I saw a 30s coat that I really loved which fit me perfectly, but felt was overpriced (I've been collecting vintage clothing for 15 years). I left the store to mull it over for 24 hours. The next day I returned to view the coat again. I noticed some collar damage, and I still couldn't get over the price tag so I asked the employee if the owner would take 10% off (this, by the way, is standard in EVERY antique mall across the country when you're paying cash). The employee refused, insisting that the owner never negotiates. This struck me as weird for several reasons. First, do you really think women are clamoring to purchase this slightly beat up 30s coat in Seattle (one of the most sartorially casual cities I've ever visited)? Second, when the difference between selling the coat and not selling the coat is a paltry 10% - why would you not prefer to sell it? In the end, I relented (the first and last time I'll ever do that). While wearing the coat I got stabbed DAILY with loose pins that unbeknownst to me had been left throughout the interior. I swear I found at least 15 of them. They didn't even fully examine the piece before slapping an exorbitant price tag on it. If I'm in the area again I'll probably stop in, but I'd much rather shop at Trove down the road.

Just spent entire 20 minutes in the store and really liked a piece. 99% sure I was going to buy it.. but that entire 20 minutes in the store the salesperson couldn't even muster a hello or can I help you. Brick andmortar stores exist because people like real human customer service. Sadly there is none here. The others in the store weren't even offered a hello can I help you either. Bad vibe all around. Sadly this isn't my first experience like this here. I just like vintage denim pieces. I'll stick to eBay..

It is a second-hand clothing store, really vintage stuff, they have very cool shirts, pants, accessories, etc. For men and women, they also have very nice old wedding dresses, prices vary there are economical and expensive clothes.

Lovely selection for both men and women. Owner was willing to stay 30 minutes past closing to wait for me and patiently answered the questions I had about their Etsy store. Clothing racks specify the size so you can browse efficiently. Prices are a tad higher than Trove around the corner but still reasonable. Follow their Instagram for the best stuff.
