Tristan was super amazing and upgraded our room to a suite because it was our honeymoon! It was so nice and thoughtful. It truly made our stay in Seattle so much more special.Andrew also is incredibly enthusiastic and committed to his job. Very friendly, prompt, and polite. Both employees are must-keeps and I hope management takes notice of the incredible service they provided me and the value they bring to the hotel!

Good location for a concert... But no lifts and very old hotel so yeah, other than location no real reason to come back. Will stay in future but only for concerts because of do close easy walk.Beds good.Parking $40. But bell boy said to park on street and just pay 2 hours and should be fine.We did it and had no issues, left before 8am though.Rooms: Wooden floors, very old. Has kitchen which was good. But very old style, clean and good beds.Walkability: Close for concerts.

The staff here is outstanding. I wish other hotels in Seattle would treat its guests this kind during a stay.If you are traveling to Seattle to go to climate pledge, this should be your hotel. The attached coffee shop is good for breakfast and the speakeasy is fantastic for dinner.Nearby activities: Climate pledge, space needle.Walkability: Fantastic

The Marqueen Hotel is a centrally located, independently owned and operated, classic American hotel built in the early part of the last century. The beds were comfortable and the shower was strong. My daughter and I really enjoyed having a small kitchen. Plus the internet was great. All the employees were tip top. Using a valet to park the car was not the hassle I thought it would be. I would definitely stay here again.Nearby activities: The Marqueen Hotel is a short walk from the Space Needle and other sights.Walkability: Easy to walk to and a good location for public transportation around the city.

What an absolutely amazing hotel! My son and I came for a concert and the MarQueen is located a scant five blocks from the venue, totally alleviating the need for an UBER. Everywhere we went we were able to walk or catch the transit. The rooms are clean, spacious, and insanely comfortable. See included photos. I'm pretty sure my first apartment wasn't this nice. It was everything we wanted for a comfortable room, and nothing we didn't need.A special shout out to Andrew, our doorman, who recommended some amazing restaurants in the area, and also helping us secure a shuttle to and from the airport. The MarQueen is an amazing and historic place that absolutely smacks of all the amenities of a 5 star hotel, but has rates that are almost too reasonable. My only drawback is that there is no elevator and after a great day of adventuring and concerting, that walk up to the third floor was a bit of a struggle on my old knees. That being said, it IS a historic hotel and with all the Halloween decorations, we felt right at home.10/10 will be coming back to this hotel and neighborhood!

Lovely old hotel, lots of character. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The room was on the second floor and there's no elevator, but the bellman was very helpful with our heavy luggage. The hotel is a bit creaky and worn, but that adds to its charm and was not a problem for us, it was nice to be somewhere that embraces its history. The only issue we found was the very noisy air conditioning, which was too loud to have on overnight - despite the volume, the AC is very effective so we just chilled the room right down before bed and that kept the room cool enough. We would happily stay again, we enjoyed the area and tried a few of the local bars, with particular recommendations for the Travelling Goat and the Sitting Room.

What a beautiful hotel. My partner and I (along with a friend) booked a room for a concert back in May. My sister also stayed her in an adjacent room with her partner. We both had great, clean, and spacious rooms! I can't believe the little kitchen we had in our room had a decent sized fridge, a table, a full separate sick (with dish soap), proper glasses, and real (not plastic) utensils. We didn't think we'd use any of it, but we did and it felt good not having to worry about those type of things. The staff was absolutely lovely. Such a superb hospitality! Super accommodating and helpful as well. And now my parents will be staying here for an upcoming concert after I told them about our great experience. In reading lower rated reviews, I can see why people would dislike the hotel. I think it's important to note that this is a HISTORIC Seattle hotel. It is aged and thus contains a lot of character and dings that most would find in an old building. If you enjoy a historic hotel with historic character and excellent hospitality then this is the place for you. Otherwise, book at a newer/modern hotel.

This is a hotel full of history. It was probably beautiful back in its prime, and parts of it are still very pretty. But the place is old and has not been kept up as well as it should have been. The floors in the room are VERY squeaky, good luck not waking everyone around you when you get up. The bath tubs are worn, with paint chipping off. A few cosmetic touches would really help. All of that being said, the staff is incredibly friendly. In my opinion Tristan at the front desk has the type of customer service attitude every manager dreams of. So friendly and seemed to really care about helping guests. The rooms are also very clean. I was pleased with my stay enough to book it for a second night on my return stay in Seattle. The pictures show the condition of the tubs, clean but in need of refinishing.

We stayed at the Marqueen to attend the Taylor Swift concert, and it’s such a great location. It was much cheaper than other hotel options. It’s within walking distance to the Space Needle and monorail station, so it was super easy to get to Pike Place as well. There’s a bus stop right outside the hotel, so it was very convenient to be able to bus home after the concert and not have to walk far at all. The staff were friendly, and check in/check out was easy. The room was cozy, and had air conditioning, and the beds were comfy. We didn’t use the kitchenette much, but it was handy to have anyways.

Wonderful 100 year old hotel. It is still very much looking like it did back then. The only drawback is that there’s no elevator, but there is somebody to help you get your luggage up and down stairs. It’s within walking distance of the space needle. Our room had a nice kitchen.

Great location! Lots of history. Walking distance to the local market, CVS and several restaurants. Also not a bad walk to and from the space needle. There are homeless people in the area but they have not made me worry even walking alone at night.Rooms: Cost room with small kitchen and seating area.Safety: There is a small entrance with a doorman and desk clerk.Walkability: Easy walk to restaurants, CVS and space needle.

Everything was great! We stayed during a VERY busy weekend in Seattle (Taylor Swift + Blue Jays game). I had phoned before arriving to ask a question about parking and the staff were all so helpful then and when we arrived. They let us park and check in a few hours early. The hotel is old but cool - and the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and sheets were nice. We didn’t really use the kitchenettes but they could be really helpful for some folks. The location was pretty good - we walked to the monorail and took it downtown. I would definitely stay here again.I was sad the speak easy was closed but we will definitely be back!

This is a former dorm for engineering students turned into a nice boutique hotel. Furnishings are charming and clean. The rooms are spacious- the upper floor rooms will afford you an oblique view of the Space Needle. Most importantly, the beds are clean and comfortable. The Queen Anne Neighborhood is lively, with great independent restaurants and bars. This hotel is an excellent choice, with excellent proximity to the local attractions (Space Needle, Pikes Place Market).

I chose this hotel because of the history of the building. It was built in 1918 . When you walk in it has a grand staircase. The room is like a small apartment it has a kitchenette with microwave, coffeemaker and refrigerator. The hotel is in the middle of everything. There's a grocery store, drug store, and cafe's and restaurant's 1 block from the hotel. I will definitely stay there every time I visit Seattle.

Excellent hotel. Antique. Has a cpl little quirks that go along with a 120 yro building, but the plusses far outweigh any quirks. Staff was great. Linens & beds were great. Great food options within one block. No elevator so if mobility is impaired, then look elsewhere.
