Great location, close to Pike Place Market. Walking distance to anything you might want to do. Seattle Light Rail has a stop really close to the hotel. Definitely a little dated, but it has charm.

Stayed for 4 nights, 5 days in July. Overall, the stay was not as high end as we hoped/expected.
The cons:
Terribly uncomfortable pillows. They literally had no fluff to them and had to be folded in half to offer any support. We had to ask for a new pillow and they provided fresh foam pillows. Why even leave the crappy ones when you have nice ones?
A/c is weak, especially on the 12th floor
Windows lack insulation so street noise is heard even on the top floor.
Super thin walls. We could hear every word our neighbors were saying to each other.
Rooms need a refresh overall. Scuffs and chipped paint on the baseboards, no exhaust fan in the shower, tight bathroom. Room was small also.
The worst offense was when we were napping. The door opened without any knock and we didn’t see who opened our door before it shut. We called the desk and the front desk said it must’ve been house cleaning. Shouldn’t house keeping knock before entering a room? We asked them to contact house keeping to confirm that they did enter our room but they never got back to us. It left us feeling worried the remainder of the trip of break ins.
Pros: the location is truly unmatched. Close to everything, including public transit.
On-site valet (although terribly expensive) was available 24 hours a day. They even brought items to our door that were left in the car.
Good security at the entrances.
Overall, I doubt I’d stay here for more than one or two nights. It was awfully expensive for the uncomfortable features and lack of care/urgency from the front desk staff.

great location! near pike plaza and public transportation. easy to get to from airport and very easy getting back to airport on light rail. there were a lot of homeless around, but I think that's pretty common in the downtown area. other neighborhoods def had less homeless but were further away from main attractions. staff at the mayflower were awesome

A charming, historic hotel in the middle of everything. The staff was so helpful and polite. I can’t thank them enough for their assistance when figuring out things like ferry schedules.

The bell staff is great. The front desk staff is not. They fail to impart simple information to guests, and have poor follow-up on service requests. The location is great.

We used this hotel twice for our self drive holiday around the Canadian Rockies. At the end we were embarking on a cruise at Pier 66. The first night the accommodation was a bit tight and we missed not having twin beds - we rectified the matter 10 days later for second night. A small suite (we had loads of luggage ) was much better.
The breakfast was great and the location was fantastic - 10 minute transfer to the ship. We used their left luggage facility which was great value.

Toilet too small for an adult.
Old, low, antiquated furniture with flat cushions. Difficult to stand up from.
Tiny bathroom.
We'll never go again.

Kinda rustic but we LOVE unlimited outlets lol. The entire wall was lined with outlets every foot or so. Pretty cool, wish all buildings were like this.

This hotel is in need of an upgrade. The staff was also rude.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle!
The hotel is immaculately clean, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful — always ready to assist with anything we needed.
Service was quick, efficient, and professional.
The location is truly unbeatable — everything in downtown is just a 5-minute walk away, and it’s only about 10 minutes to the most iconic waterfront spots.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality in the heart of Seattle!

All the bell people were amazing but some front desk people not so much... enjoyed Oliver's. Beds are fine. But desk chair in the room was the worst ever and wifi is terrible overall experience was pretty average.

Great Hotel , rooms were clean comforts and spacious, good bar downstairs. Unfortunately breakfast wasn't included in our booking, it was available in the restaurant but very expansive.
Good location.
