I’ve lived in Seattle for over thirty years and just found this hidden gem! Beautiful park, enjoyed my visit and will be back!Playground: I love the design of the rock slides. They do need to be updated as the slide action is worn. You have to scoot your butt and legs to actually slide. Depends on the child and their love for playing outside, rain or shine.Restrooms: Small, typical, unattended park restroom. Nothing fancy, but when you gotta go it fits the bill.Dog-friendliness: Don’t think it’s an off leash park, but definitely good for a dog walk!

We go here all the time. It's right down the street from my boyfriends place. Great atmosphere...lots of green space and a perfect park for the little guy.

Good park with a huge field(that has apple trees), basketball hoops one short and one tall and a nice playground with lots of play equipment and great swings.

Great park for kids and adults alike. There is plenty of space for frisbee throwing, basketball hoops, slides, swings, sand pits, and everything else needed for little humans to enjoy their day. A farmer's market is there on Wednesday during the summer.Overall, it is a decent park to spend a few hours while the kids play.

It's lovely there! The playground seems well-kept with no trash or anything. A lot of summer groups for kids use the playground.I thought that would be great for my 3yo (4yo in a month), but the kids can be very... cliquish. She doesn't usually have any trouble making friends at the other playgrounds we go to, even with older kids, but this time she was moreso ignored or even teased than she was befriended. The fault doesn't lay in the park itself, but it should be known for families bringing a young child.

Nice park with playground, covered structure for hosting events, bathrooms and grassy area.

It looked like they only trim the trees after a branch destroys a fence. The sections of the park have no continuity, it seems very disorganized. Also for a children's playground someone was not thinking about how kids play. There are decorative rocks sticking out of the ground between play areas. There were kids climbing on the random posts instead of the play equipment. It was hard to find parking to get to a place that seemed unsafe for children.

I'm reluctant to let our secret out. Meridian Playground is really awesome. Great place to take the dog for fetch, take the kids to play in the playground, enjoy all of the wonderful trees, but our favorite is THE FLOWERS. Absolutely love this park.

It's a nice neighborhood playground. Plenty of space for parties and picnics.Restrooms: What you'd expect in public restrooms.Dog-friendliness: Plenty of space for dogs and the neighborhood seems to like them.

Awesome awesome playground and grounds! Great sand box and tons of low trees around the grounds that provide excellent opportunities for kids (and adults) to climb — that’s been hard to find in many of Seattle’s parks - usually the tree branches are too tall for kids. Kids need to climb to develop their upper body and hand strength! And jumping down helps develop their lower bodies. Even better if they do it barefoot so their feet develop well, too. HIdden gem! It’s a massive park with playground and fields within walls that cover several square city blocks. Nice farmers market on Wednesday afternoons during summer. Parking in streets and off Sunnyvale for the Good Shepherd Center / Meridian School.
