This place is aces. I like to cook and that can involve finding the right ingredients. Sometimes the hard to find ingredients. Usually I can count on metropolitan markets to come through. They have a wide variety of top quality easy to find foods as well. Not for the faint of heart as they are more expensive than the more common grocery chains. But alas, when top quality and specialty items are going to make or break your fancy feast, this is the place to go, hands down.

We love metropolitan market. Their house pasta and sauces are the only ones we use anymore. Likewise, they're frozen Italian meatballs. We get two for one offers so we go there two or three times a month for top quality meat, fish and produce. The prime rib French dip is worth going out of your way for. We had it with extra meat and one sandwich was plenty for two people.Last week we bought their barbecued pork ribs. We had tried them once before and resolved to get a supply. We bought two pounds and had several meals throughout the week. They're just wonderful! There's a great selection of cheeses and fresh food by the pound. There's a poke bar. There's hot food by the pound. The staff members are friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking.UPDATE 12/1/23BOGO sockeye salmon, yum!

I would of given 5 ⭐'s but the cashier who was a young, dirty blonde woman, was very sweet, charming, and polite to the couple in front of me, but when it came to me, she seemed to be quite snappy. Almost as if irritated with me being in her presence. The store was very clean, very beautiful and all the other workers were very kind and had great customer service. I'm not sure exactly why the woman decided to be um, for lack of a better word "rude"to me, but i honestly dont want to come back to this store location because of how this cashier treated me. Especially when I seen her not seconds prior treating the couple in front of me very kind, sweet, and attentive. SMH

The products are delicious there but the customer service at the cold counter isn't very nice. I asked for something today and they looked at me like ehh we don't have that which is fine. I was no worries. Then dark haired women started talking to her coworker about me. The customer service would be better and not talking behind a customers back would be good. It was unbelievably rude.

Such a treat. This is a high-end grocery store with plenty of local products, fresh produce, hot & cold prepared foods and a bakery. I was inspired walking around. Very clean & spacious. The fall French lentils salad was delicious. The cashier who checked me out was meticulous in ensuring none of my glass items would rattle in the bag - that was a very impressive level of attention to detail! Friendly service all around.

If the Double Tree Hotel and Levain Bakery cookies had a baby and it only got the good parts, that is this cookie! Like who would've thought one of the best chocolate chip cookies could be found in this local grocery store! We are huge fans and wish we had a metropolitan market back home! We will definitely be back! This West Seattle location was easy to go to, ample parking, and very clean!

It's my first time going to the Metropolitan Market and I like the selection of fruits and vegetables and there is so much good stuff. The poke bar caught my attention. So, did the freshly prepared dinners.Sadly though, by the time I popped inside the store, everything was put away already. Additionally, there's no one there that greets us.This store is a recommendation from my nephew who used to live around the area. He moved to California for a career in Hollywood. He came back to Seattle to visit and took me to this store just to show me how awesome it is. The store is amazing as he described. We were excited about the giant chocolate cookies and ended up getting some of those.I will be back to check out the full-spread sandwich-making, seeing everyone in action. I'll try the weekend around lunchtime.I recommend checking the store out if you're in the area.

They are my favorite market a little high price, but everything is worth it from fresh vegetables to a delicious bakery and everything in between

Haters will say Met Market is expensive but when eggs were pushing $8-$9 at some grocers Met Market kept it real with eggs for $3.99 per dozen. Love Met Market. Great produce, quality seafood, nice curated wine selection.

If you've never been in a Metropolitan Market before, it's a higher end ($$$$) grocery store that really knows how to create awesome heat & eat foods and can save you from having to cook for yourself for a long period of time. Definitely fantastic for a quick lunch if you're looking to have a little picnic or if you work in the area. I find myself in a good amount of trouble in the pre-made section and it's the main reason I like to come here. They also serve as a regular grocery store with a very nice selection of premium products and you're likely to find those hard-to-find or new-to-you items that are more expensive, but you know you want to!

Quaint store with beautiful flowers, a beautiful display of organic fruits and vegetables, hand crafted cheeses and now salami from Salumi.
