I always enjoyed visiting this shop when in town and picking up a piece to add to my collection. Very disappointed to find it under new ownership who have jacked the prices up tremendously. It was always a little more than you would pay in Mexico but a reasonable mark-up is to be expected. The new prices are just ridiculous. Not sure why anyone who knows Mexican folk art would buy here. Miss the old owner who was delightful, knowledgeable and fair.

Incredibly overpriced and everything looked like it was begging to be broken… No glass cases for items as pricey as $5k. I would not be surprised if they make a good amount of money off of clumsy tourists. AVOID.

Maybe you should update your hours online. I drove over an hour to get to this place and paid $14.00 for parking just to walk up to the door and they were closed with the little clock that showed they'll be open again at 10.I guess you could say it's my fault for not calling and verifying their hours first but I've shopped here on several occasions and their hours were always the same.

Love, love, love Milagro's - I visit every time I'm in Seattle. Wonderful indigenous art - I especially adore the Huichol yarn paintings and the Oaxacan carved wooden animals. Friendly staff, well priced for the amazing quality. Definitely recommend!

I have seen the exact same art in Mexico. Beautiful art! The only thing that bothers me is the price of a item being $5 in Mexico vs $60 here. Plus it is own by a white woman.

This store has an amazing variety of both new and antique authentic Mexican folk art - every piece is beautiful. I was looking for something related to Day of the Dead or Talavera pottery as a gift for a friend, but found so many other lovely items that I spent an hour trying to decide. Finally bought an enchanting Oaxacan woodcarving. The people at the store were so kind and helpful as well. The item needed to be shipped, and it was packed very carefully and arrived punctually. I'm so happy to have found this store!

We had a great time talking to Tracy and learning about the artwork at Milagros. It's just a short walk to the left of the main Pike's area and the bright colors and artwork will catch your attention from the window. Theres so much to look at and you can certainly find a gift for yourself or others here. We loved the art work inspired from visions seen in Peyote rituals and the colors and designs were mesmerizing. The owners travel to Mexico searching for great artwork for the shop so it's worth stopping by every now and then to see whats new.

I came in here with my boyfriend, this is important: we’re both brown (I’m Latina and he’s not). I was drawn into this place for the obvious reason lol we were the only brown people in the store. I was looking for something to send to a friend for a gift exchange we were doing. I found a couple of beautiful pieces but due to price I had to pass them up. So I kept searching. Anyway we ended up being in there for a while. There’s a lot of stuff in there and I wanted to make sure I saw everything. I see there’s this old white women standing at the counter just staring at us. She kept following us around and darting her head/eyes in our direction. By the time I found something I felt too uncomfortable to purchase the item due to her presence. We ended up leaving frustrated by this women’s treatment toward us. If you’re going to be selling my culture you could be more inviting to poc.

Very suspicious circumstances here. My 90 year old father went window shopping unaccompanied for 20 minutes, and returned to our hotel with his "great buy" - a $25 Mexican blanket. He showed me his two receipts: one for $27.47, the other was a credit card receipt for $274.00! Went back to the store, where the female shopkeeper's immediate response was "Oh sh.., sorry!" and started reversing the transaction. At the same time, a man hanging out near the register said aloud, "Oh, that's a typo." How ODD to have an immediate reaction to our exchange...without even viewing the receipt?! The shopkeeper reversed the charge, showed us the new receipt, and then began a new transaction with the correct amount. Told her that I was NOT going to be buying from this establishment. Be sure to check your receipt before leaving.

ELDER ABUSE: BEWARE!! Never frequent this establishment. They charged my father-in-law $250 for a $25 blanket claiming it was a "typo". Disgusting.

Very nice collection of Mexican folk art. The owner goes to Mexico to pick out the pieces directly from the artist who make them. I always try to stop in when I'm at the market.

So excited that Milagros has reopened! Visited yesterday to support the shop after 2 months closed. They have continued to buy from the artists to support them despite being closed due to COVID. They have the prettiest artwork and Heather is extremely nice and helpful!! If you are in Seattle you need to visit this store!
