“I am not comfortable when the woman in the pharmacy ask personal questions after asking you your name; she wants your birthdate, address and then asked you to spell your name! Well now everyone in line behind you knows where you live, how to spell your name and your birth date! Hopefully she won't asked for your social! I just feel with so much identity theft going on, it should be a little more confidential. Nonetheless, I like the convenience of location, the sales and store brands.”

“I usually try to avoid this Walgreens, although one of my prescriptions is handled by the pharmacy, and I must visit once a month. However, I needed to pick up some things for my wife who had a bad cold. I was wandering around, lost as usual, when Patrick, the guy in charge of stock and supply at this Walgreens, asked if he could help. I was astounded. This kindness is not often seen in Seattle. He helped me find what I needed, and Patrick even ran downstairs for the two boxes of Kleenex my wife requested. He was warm, friendly and helpful. Kudos to Patrick and kudos for Walgreens for hiring him.”

“What can I say fresh produce huge selection such as fresh prickly pear, tomatillo and large selection of fresh and dried peppers! The butcher counter is mind blowing, I wish I had a little more time to take it all in. They also make their own salsa, which is also by the meat buter. In addition a huge selection of in house cheese. I found some great hot sauce, I was out and needed to add some new flavors. The La Botanera hot sauce and Picama's Salsa Brava hot sauce is the bomb. Next time I plan on taking the light rail from capitol hill to beacon hill to avoid the traffic. Consider it is located across the street from the light rail.”
“This review is for my wonderful experience with the floral department. I went online to get flowers delivered to my mom for her birthday, through a separate company that partners with Safeway. I found out after I ordered them that this other company would not honor the same day delivery that I selected and paid them for. I asked them for the florists number and it was this Safeway. The woman on the phone here was SO accommodating. She said their delivery truck was already out and wasn't sure if they could do it, but she could tell how bad I wanted my mom to have her birthday flowers and said that she would figure it out. Next I'm bittersweet crying because I'm so grateful for her and stressed from the hassle with that other company. She then said that their business exists to brighten peoples day, that she too wanted my mom to have her flowers today, and guaranteed me she would make that happen, even if she had to deliver them herself. I can't thank her enough for what she did. I am definitely a new permanent customer.”
“impressive i must agree that staff do listen to yelping customers aka whining when things dont go right...i previously written my review regarding my ribeyes bought at saars in many locations and now i have to recant and improvise and upgrade my review here at saars located in white center. their ribeyes are properly labeled or at least their butcher properly cut the correct part of the cow which is known as ribeye... ribeyes purchased today 12/24/2021 and cooked accordingly and the result much much much more tender than previous ribeyes i have bought ok saars you got me. and ofcourse thank you very much for the much needed change and improvement. hey..... saars are selling real ribeyes i can vouch for it now as of this date....hard earned money deserves quality food.”

“This has been our Fred Myer for just over 7 years. We enjoy the selection Fred Myer provides. We're big Saturday or Sunday morning shoppers. This place can get pretty busy.Our favorite checkers are Vinod (OG checker) or Nan. They are super fast behind the checker. Stay away from the in school nurse guy, he'll talk your ear off and check super slow.We park two lanes north of the south entrance and we always have good luck finding a spot. Do yourself a favor and stop by Freddie's!”
“I moved to Seattle 18 months ago and have been getting my prescriptions at this pharmacy since. I've had exceptionally helpful service - the pharmacists and assistants going way out of their way to help get my prescriptions transferred and filled. I had another great experience today with pills I'd misplaced and needed a refill. They called the insurance company to get authorization for early refill (denied). They really go the extra distance. A+++”

Even though I couldn't pick up my cash from her store because it was sent from a credit card after a certain time at night , she gave me detailed directions to the nearest western union location that was able to process credit card transactions after 8 pm.”
