Don't forget your bank cards at the bar! They will throw them away the very next day.

Good location adjacent to the downtown core. Basic property with basic services. Comfortable rooms. Solid option for short stays.

This place was perfect for me and my girlfriend over the weekend. We flew in from Denver on a Friday, stayed till Sunday afternoon. The staff was incredible, the GM was fantastic and really wanted everyone to have a great time and it was obvious he was passionate about making this Moxy location a true success. I actually can't describe how accommodating they were for us... we had some troubles when we were leaving, and asked for a late checkout... not only did they allow us a late checkout, they did not pressure us (admittedly we were way behind schedule - so thank you for bearing with us!), but they also allowed us to keep our luggage in the lockers downstairs until we needed to get to the airport.
I highly recommend this location, simply because of the staff and the good times we found ourselves having at the Moxy in Seattle. We will certainly be staying here next time we are in Seattle. I have traveled many miles and the hospitality we received was truly top notch. Thank you to the staff who made this possible, and we look forward to seeing you next time we are in Seattle. All love!
PS - if someone wants to dethrone me on the foosball table when we are there next, YOU HAVE BEEN CHALLENGED!
Thank you again and best wishes!

I judge hotels by gyms to be honest in my review. The gym does not have a true workout bike. The elliptical choice is poor. For someone that cannot run and needs bikes and ellipticals- stay elsewhere. Otherwise the gym is adequate. I live in a hotel half the year and spend 2.5 hours a day in the gym. The location and room and service is fantastic if your priorities are those items.

So awesome to come back to a friendly bar in the lobby of your hotel.

Great little hip, quaint hotel! My friend and I stayed here for a girlfriend’s weekend and we had a great time grabbing drinks at the bar and walking around South Lake Union and Downtown. The staff was very friendly and the room and lounge were tasteful and modern. The room was on the smaller side so if you’re looking for something spacious, this wouldn’t be the right fit. Overall an excellent stay.

For the price this hotel is absolutely not worth it.
Pros: friendly and accommodating staff. A free drink to butter you up.
Cons: what previous commenter (Lynne) said is absolutely true. Horrible, horrible, inhospitable beds. Pillows with absolutely no substance. I wake up every night I’ve been here so far because the bed is so uncomfortable I can’t take it anymore. It’s even too uncomfortable just to sit on!
No fridge in suite unless you ask. Rolling door on bathroom has way too much clearance and doesn’t make for a private bathroom. The toilet is right next to the door with frosted glass so the people you’re staying with can see you sitting on the toilet. Lots of noise all night, be it slamming of doors or garbage trucks in the area. No ice machines. No parking. Worst Marriott I’ve ever stayed at.

Whenever my company books a Marriott, I know I'm in for an uncomfortable night, but this location takes the cake.
I don't care that the rooms are small, I'm not staying in it long since I'm here to work. I don't need amenities like a mini fridge or coffee maker, and the lack of an iron and ironing board was easily made up by the steamer that I had access to. The bathroom is small but efficient. The shower door that continually rolled open was annoying but could be dealt with. The laminate flooring that is detaching itself from the subfloor and bubbling up was concerning but didn't affect my comfort.
What wins the room a single star, however, is the completely inhospitable sleeping environment. The mattress had absolutely no give, the bedding was scratchy, and the pillows had zero substance. The AC in my room worked beautifully, except for the bright blue light that lit up the room all night long.
The location of the hotel is fine. If I were coming here for a vacation I would probably be disappointed, but I knew I'd be on the Amazon campus and adjusted expectations accordingly.
I only interacted with hotel staff at check-in and check-out, and they were polite and did their jobs.

Excellent! Location is amazing, 2 blocks away from lake union, beautiful amazon neighborhood, and pretty close from main touristic attractions.
Lobby is perfect for chilling in the evening. rooms are great too!

Moxy is a great value. You would be hard pressed to find a decent hotel room for $200 and under.
I needed a quick overnight before a Monday morning meeting. For me, the location was perfect. For someone visiting Seattle for pleasure, I’d say it’s a bit off the beaten path, which could be fine if you don’t mind the extra walking. Conveniently located right off highway 5.
I was at least 20 years older than anyone else there, but that doesn’t bother me. Vibe is young, hip tech bro meets hipster PNW outdoorsman. Personally, I dig the finishes, mix of fabrics and leather. Current, comfortable, sophisticated without being fussy.
Rooms are definitely smaller than average, no closet and not a lot of space for multiple suitcases. However, this keeps cost down and 2 people could be quite comfortable if you’re out and about most of the time.
My King bed was very comfortable. Good pillows, too. Better than many 4-5 star hotels I have stayed in.
Bathroom was small, but adequate. No frills, but shampoo/body wash/conditioner are provided.
Service was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. Room and bathroom were both spotless. Well appointed grab&go snacks and breakfast items in the lobby. Beautiful, new CVS and Walgreens one block away. A couple of walkable restaurants/cafes, although things were pretty quiet on a Sunday evening.
Lack of parking is a drawback. No parking on site. I was able to find street parking since it was an early Sunday night.
I will definitely be back.

Fun Marriott location, definitely leans into the Seattle vibe. Would return. Friendly staff, got an issue fixed right away. Cool bar in the lobby with games and lots of space to hang out.

The service was spectacular. Upon checking in, the front desk was friendly and super helpful. They gave us two poker chips to use as tokens for complimentary drinks at the bar. The rooms are small but that is something we had known ahead of time. And to be honest, it’s more than enough room for two. The bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. Checking out, we had gone down to the lobby and given back the hotel cards and the unused tokens (we slept early because of a long day and forgot to redeem). The lobby host had offered to go Lattes and we couldn’t be happier. I would recommend this place to anyone. Friendly people and a very homey cosy feel to Moxy.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed. The room was uncomfortably small, making it difficult to move around. Essential amenities like complimentary water bottles, a microwave, and a mini fridge were missing. To make matters worse, when I requested a toothbrush from the reception, they had run out. The gentleman at the front desk, seemed doesn’t care to guest needs and said would take 3-5 days to receive it. Jeezzz! Plus, since I am on my business trip, I requested an iron and ironing board upon check-in but never received them, even by the time I checked out. The constant noise from a generator in the neighboring building made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Overall, this hotel failed to meet basic expectations for comfort and convenience.
