I used to love Nordstrom. Easy returns. Lots of help and customer service. I bought a dress for a wedding and it arrived today with no return label and no order number. Tried to get a return label and the chat was terrible. She hung up without helping me finish anything. I won't shop there again. Bye Nordstrom

This is a nicer Nordstrom I've seen - on par with the one downtown Chicago. Lots of high quality brands to choose from over 5 levels, attentive employees, and just overall well organized.

Deanene and her tailor are great. I had a last minute interview come up for tomorrow morning, and my current suit I use for interviews I have outgrown. I had 45 minutes before the store closed when I left work, and I called the menswear dept letting them know what I needed, and to see if they had time to help me pick something out. Deanene had something immediately ready when I got there, called the tailor to see if they could perform a rush hem on the pants, and I had a brand new suit set with two minutes to spare before the store closed. Exceeded Expectations. Well done.

This is the original Nordy and it is one of the best! I was actually here in 2009 and was not too impressed with this store. But in 2019, it had been remodeled and looks better than ever! The service is awesome as usual. They have a great assortment of clothing and shoe brands. This store gets extremely busy. They have some high quality snacks at the ebar. This Nordstrom also had a lot of unique beauty brands that are not found in Florida or even California. This is a must see store for any Nordstrom fan. This is where it all started.

Nordstrom Seattle is literally the nicest department store I've ever seen. It's reminiscent of the days where service and top notch selection were the norm and shopping was more like an event than a chore. It has a vibe similar to what I'd experienced visiting Saks in Manhattan or maybe Macy's 40 years ago before it started to suck. This location surpasses Neiman's and maybe even Bergdorf Goodman. The selection is endless featuring brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Chanel. And in days where finding someone to help you can be next to impossible, Nordstrom is chock full of exceptional people who are more than happy to assist. It also makes me a little sad because my local Nordstrom more closely resembles a Macy's than their flagship Seattle location. I'm not sure why their satellite locations have fallen so far but truly they have. Perhaps it's for this reason why I was so completely blown away.If it wasn't the better part of 3000 miles or a 6 hour plane ride away, this would be my go to location for whatever they sell that I'm in the market to buy. And yeah, I know I can shop online for whatever but it's not the same. Norstrom Seattle makes me long for a simpler but more elegant time where service and selection overshadowed deep discount racks. There's something very Mrs. Maisel-ish about it which makes it a go to whenever i'm in the area.

Nordstroms the quintessential shopping store in Seattle. Been shopping at Nordy's for ages so I'm an expert on the business. After all these years the merchandise has greatly improved at the downtown location. Huge names from Gucci , Prada and Balenciaga a favorite of Kanye Wests. However the custom maid business clothing represents my favorite part of the Nordstrom experience. If spent hours going through swatch's of fabrics picking shirts and suits. All things custom are exceptional for the look of FRANK B!Moving over to the shoe section it's a enormous variety of business and casual offering for my feet. But enough about Franks feet the store I love the most is the Louis Vuitton store on the main floor of the building. Not the largest but plenty of LV treats for Frank B. For LV enthusiasts it's the only Louis Vuitton in Seattle. And last but not least should I feel the need for nourishment the Café Nordstrom is where I dine! A quality meal is a must before you shop! Anyways it's all I have regarding Nordstroms!

It's been several years since I have been to the downtown Seattle location. There is a strong law enforcement presence at all doors to this location. It's obvious these are not private security but off duty police officers. The men's section is located on the lower level. Zegna is the main brand I look at for ties. The staff are very friendly and not pushy. Even though one check out register was crowded, an employee came up to me and asked if I needed assistance. I pointed to the line and he took me to another register to complete my transaction. Thank you for doing this on a rainy and cold day in Seattle.

So I bought a pant and 2 shirts. 400 ish. I added another item and they saw it, they had it. My partner and I saw him with it. I dosed off. I came home and they did not charge it, or put it in the bag. No shirt. I looked for the item up next day and it's like it never existed on the app. It wasn't even on the shelves. They took it out of the shelves. Which is ok. But don't bamboozle me. Let me know you can't sell that shirt so I can just get something else for my occasion. I came home to wear it and it wasn't in the bag. Went to look for it at the store the next day, gone, retired. No small, medium4x or whatever. Every other clothes was the same from 2 days before. My ticket says Joslyn which was the great girl that helped. Who charged me was a tired old f*g male like me that hid the shirt cause he knew there was acallback instead of telling me. If you can't sell something, just say it.

One of the favorite places to shop, but I am quite disappointed with the Nordstroms in Washington state. I have previously shopped at Nordstrom in Virginia and Florida, they were great!! The staff is nice, no complaints there but I don't see a variety in the clothing and shoes. Would recommend this place but one thing to keep in mind is that the collection is limited.

Good morning, I wanted to reach out to express my disappointment and frustration with Nordstrom and the booking system for the Breakfast with Santa. I've attempted to purchase four tickets numerous times over the past two weeks using different mobile devices, browsers and computers all to no avail. I called the number on the site without success. I've walked into Downtown Seattle Nordstrom requesting assistance and was directed to an email address. The person I corresponded with via email just sent me notifications that there were openings and dismissed my issue that the site would not allow me to make the purchase. Even today when I go online and select the open date and time I receive a notification the selection is no longer available even though if I refresh the availability page the selections shows as available. I am disappointed with this entire experience and am surprised to run into this with Nordstrom. I know your company prides itself on high quality customer service and this was far from that.

I am a Nordstrom customer and make it a point to visit the Nordstrom in any city we travel to. This location is one of the best. The store is large with a great selection of designer and reasonable price point items. The store employees are helpful and kind without being aggressive. They include Louis V, Chanel and several other designer boutiques inside the store. I purchased a great coat and my sales experience was really good. Given that this is maybe the only large department store left downtown it's really nice that it seems to be doing well. Plenty of options to spend an afternoon shopping and definitely meets the "dopamine dressing" mark.

I am very happy I joined up. Everyone has been very helpful and friendly, especially Meagan B. I love that there are shared branches all over the county. I have also only been a member a short time and I am already receiving interest back! I couldn't be happier!

The iconic flagship store was a must-do when I visited family in Seattle this weekend. It's located in the downtown area. For parking, you might be able to find street parking but usually it's easier to find a lot that you can park in and walk to the store. I went with the lot which was near The North Face for $10 all day on the weekend. (From there, Nordstrom's is a block from the lot - turn left past The North Face and walk until you reach the next crosswalk - you'll see the window displays for Nordstrom's.) This location is a multi-floor one with a basement/lower level for men's apparel, accessories/makeup/shoes on the ground level, designer clothing on second floor, women's and teen clothing on third, and workout, home, and infant items on the fourth floor. The spa is on the fifth floor, which is only accessible via elevator. Staff were all helpful and friendly. I did look at some items in a collection with Nordstrom's X Off-White and a pair of pants in Chanel, but didn't walk away with anything that day. There is something for everyone in this location, which is great. The men's section was very well stocked, which is a nice contrast where some of the smaller locations have a more curated selection in store and is devoted to more women's apparel. The store does offer parking validation, but it is for $1 off parking. I don't think the lot we parked in accepted the validation, but given that we were in a structure that was $10 all day, that was a decent price compared to other lots.

Some Great Clothing Deals & Shoe Selections! SITREP Today was a great day to be at Downtown Seattle Nordstroms! THE SETUP Every time I head up to Seattle, it is always a treat to go shopping with my of my Pacific Northwest besties Jenner G. But actually in this case, Jenner couldn't wait til I got home to check in with my mother first: she stated she was just gonna pick me up at the airport @ 7:30am, and THEN we could go shopping! [Well, actually, we had to make a sidetrip to the Starbucks Roastery on Capitol Hill because first - and visit our sweet friend Ali, one of the shift managers - because it was just too dam early to go shopping anywhere at that time. But once 10am came rolling around, we were off to Pacific Center!] DRESSES GALORE! It was clear that the Autumn Fashion Season was in full swing inside the Women's section and Jenner had a most excellent time trying on some of the beautiful dresses. However, some of her personality really came through with her purchases of a black leather jacket and black leather pants that did great work at making her look like a Dominatrix. SHOES! All sorts of shoes.... Row upon row upon row of shoes. My gawds. ALL kinds. We got away with a pair of boots. But there was a hideous pair of Orange Sneakers that I could NOT convince her to get (haha). But props to the young guy who helped Jenner sorts through all the pairs we looked at (no less than 10 pair). He was the epitome of customer service. SKYWAY! What I love about the Pacific Center is how it *connects* to other stores on OTHER blocks by use of their beautiful 4th Level Skyway-Walkways. And the Skyway to Nordstroms was no different. MOLLY MOON'S ICE CREAM! And waiting for me at the Nordstrom's side of the 4th Level Skyway was Molly Moon's Ice Cream Vending Maching! YOU BET I took advantage of this little piece of Mana from Heaven and I got one of the $5 cups (Chocolate Melt flavor) to help keep me busy while Jenner was trying on some shoes. THE LOWDOWN Even though I am not really a fan of Department Stores anymore, I must give props to Nordstroms for making this a fun day of shopping!

I have been a Nordstrom shopper since it was called Nordstrom Best. For those of you who don't know Nordstrom history, that is a long time. What a difference time makes. I remember a time (many of them, actually) where you could expect a certain level of service from Nordstom, but that certainly isn't the case today. A couple of weeks ago I decided to order a few things online. It should have been a snap considering I knew what I wanted and that I would be ordering the Nordstrom brand. The order consisted of Nordstrom labeled shirts, one belt and a package of Nordstrom t-shirts, all to be picked up by me at the Downtown Seattle store. A few days later I was informed that they were canceling the order for the t-shirts because they weren't available at the Seattle store, so I wondered why they couldn't just bring them in from another of their local stores. They also informed me that they wouldn't be refunding my money but would give me a store credit. How thoughtful of them... Then I was informed via email that the rest of the order would come in separately and that if I didn't pick each order up within two days, that it would be restocked, and another store credit would be issued. When I looked at the estimated arrival time for each item, it was clear that if I wanted the items that I would have to make three separate trips to the store to pick them up. When I chatted online with a Nordstrom rep about the issue, she told me that it wasn't her job to coordinate the order or fix the problem. She was just there to chat and apparently offer an obviously scripted and hollow apologize, repeatedly. When I was notified of the arrival of the belt, I called the number which was carefully hidden in the email, twice. Both times I got to listen to an automated attendant before being put on hold just to have the call disconnected, both times. I then called the store directly. After waiting on hold for a few minutes, the operator was pleasant and connected me with the pick-up desk who then informed me that the computer was down, and they couldn't help me. I believe that it was and that he wanted to help me, because I could hear the frustration in his voice. But then I was summarily dismissed and told I would have to call back when the system was up. Conversely, on the same day I placed the order with Nordstrom, I ordered two pairs of trousers from a men's clothing manufacturer online. They both needed to be hemmed. I received both within one week, they fit well, and the hem turned out fine. This 2-Star review is a gift. The second star is only for the sake of nostalgia on my part. Honestly, this bums me out because I grew up shopping at Nordstrom. When I was a young adult and didn't think that I could afford to shop there, a salesman in men's suits at the Southcenter Store talked me into buying a pair of JB Britches. They looked good and wore well. He taught me the virtues of buying a few excellent quality items that would look good for a long time and could be the basis for a professional wardrobe. I shopped with him for over 20 years until he retired. It is so unfortunate that what was once known as the "Nordstrom way" has gone by the sidelines.
