This was my first time using a vet tech appointment since my kitty was up to date on her annual exam and she only needed a couple of vaccines administered. I can’t remember the tech’s name but she was very friendly as well as efficient. It was a good experience and Athena and I were back home in a little over 30 minutes.

I booked a senior 6 month exam for our cat, but had to book it far out - between availability for her regular vet and my need to travel to east coast. Sent an email afterwards asking to be put on a waitlist for earlier appointments. And, voila - one materialized not too much later. Appointment went as smoothly as skating on ice - checked in shortly before appointment and was called in very shortly after. Other than weight (and I think she actually managed to gain 2 ounces) - no health issues to report, so no pressure for additional tests (her bloodwork, 6 months ago, was normal).

I recommend Northeast Veterinary Hospital highly. I've been taking my terrier (12 years old) there since she was a puppy, and have always found the veterinarians and vet assistants to be attentive and knowledgeable. Last week Daisy had her annual exam with Dr. Ben Fisher. He gave her a very thorough exam, was very gentle with Daisy, and answered my many questions.

NE is a great place to trust care of your pets. They had some rough moments during the pandemic with the front desk but I think it’s all turned around. I’ve been very happy with our care there lately.

I wanted to renew a prescription that my dog has used for years for ear infections. They said I needed an appointment for a vet to examine the dog and determine if the med is the right one for the infection. I explained that the Rx was renewed just a couple months before and I just want to fill it. They said I needed an appt. So I brought my dog in. They didn't take any sample from the ear to determine if the infection was any different than the times before. This seems to me like a way to increase fees which I hadn't seen at this vet before, but I have seen at other vets. I'm rather disappointed in this clinic for stooping to this tactic. I like the techs and vets, but this policy makes me want to look for another vet clinic.

I’ve been taking my dogs here for years. They never try to sell me on services, they always give good care. For example: when my 15yr old springer spaniel needed to be put to sleep, the staff showed the utmost respect for my beloved dog, me and my family. Considering what a tough thing that is to go through, I found it a remarkably positive experience. I highly recommend the doctors here and will be a customer for as long as my pets live.UPDATE: I was prompted to write a review because I just had a visit here. And when I clicked, I realized that I feel exactly the same way about this vet hospital. I have a different dog now, but we get excellent care. I plan to use their services as long as I have a pet. I highly recommend them, any of the doctors, and the staff are friendly and compassionate, too. From the techs to the reception staff.

I have taken my rescue dog and cat here for nearly 4 years now. I appreciate NE Vet working with me to navigate their unknown pasts and develop a good care plan for them. Same day appointments have been such a comfort to me and help me feel supported when the "out of the ordinary" things happen with pets. I deeply appreciate the phone and in person conversations I have had with reception as well as the Dr's when I need advice on care for my pets.

Found by word of mouth. Very popular group of excellent vets whose hours are extended (8!M-7PM) week days and Saturday, and limited Sunday. Have facilities and setup for emergency care, take full responsibility for found dogs in area (reading chip, contacting owner, transfer to shelter if no chip). I see Dr. Tweed because I inquired who gives tranquilizers or antidepressants to aggressive untrainable dogs She is wonderful, and helped my dog enormously by giving him a chance to try antidepressants. He calmed down enough to gradually becoming a trusting dog and then opening up to training, He's now happy and tame and trainable. His cat and other dog now share Dr. Tweed with him.

The clinic is clean and the folks at the front desk are friendly. I appreciate that I didn't have to spend a long time waiting for the tech or doctor. The doctor was kind and answered all of my questions with sincerity.Although it can take several months to for a well-pet visit, I was able to post a photo a suspicious bump on my dog. They got back to me immediately and were able to see me within a day.

Love this vet! They always take good care of my senior fur baby! They have great hours that work well with my schedule. Even though I moved over an hour away, I still bring her here.

My family and I have been going to this hospital since the early 1990's, and now my husband and I continue with our own pets. The vets are so knowledgeable and respectful. The front desk staff and technicians are so helpful and go above and beyond for us. They are conscious of financial situations and are very communicative of prices. Have nothing bad to say about this hospital, they have supported me through many pets who have passed suddenly, lived to wonderful old age, and urgent issues. SO thankful for them!
