The Northwest African American Museum is a terrific small museum that preserves the rich Black history with strong roots in Seattle. Visitors can get a lot out of it in an hour or sink into the exhibits for a couple of hours. The exhibits are powerful and cause reflection, chronicling historic photographs and capturing events from the Civil Rights movement, which is very eye-opening. The museum includes a family room with a library and offers various activities for kids. The front desk folks are friendly and helpful. While some visitors express a desire to see more figures represented, the museum provides a valuable snapshot in time and is worth the entrance fee. It is highly recommended and worth supporting.
Great talk with the health care professionals.here. I would love to see this site turn into a school of the Arts!

Went in today and was so moved by the two current exhibitions: One titled The Story of the Salute and the other on Luther Vandross. The curation was outstanding and there were so many powerful messages of justice, inclusion, and Black Excellence throughout. Will come back again!
