I used to love working out at Orangetheory, but when I signed up again the business side has been so shady at the Capitol Hill location that I don’t want to work out with them and I feel I must review (I usually won’t write a review even in a bad experience). The online promotion I signed up for didn’t have some stipulations the studio had but I only found this out once I tried to book a class. They kept sending me a different agreement for their studio to the online one I bought and then calling me and emailing me until I signed it. Now to cancel they are charging another month. They even wanted to charge a fee to pause the membership.The coach was great -just not willing to spend my money at this type of business

This review is about the customer service and business practices not the workout. They have two package specials going on at the same time and only offering it selectively instead of doing the right thing and offering the best package to customers. Really shady business. I will not be supporting them and would warn future customers to be weary of joining them.

These classes are different every time. Great energy, coaching, and atmosphere. I am known and welcomed every day. And I leave feeling amazing.

Its a very effective and efficient way to get in shape. I have gained so much muscle and improved my cardiovascular health in such a short time. I really notice a difference out in the world on how much I am able to do and how easier it is. I am a much better hiker because of it and it makes me feel so strong.

The workout wasn’t bad! If you’re in it for the cardio and not worried about form when it comes to weight lifting, this is your place. Community is not a priority (even though they’ll tell you it is). And if you’re unsure after your trial, they’ll relentlessly call you every weekday. I’m rating it low because it’s not worth the price tag, in my opinion. You’re not developing skills other than learning to stick to the treadmill for 20 minutes if you can’t on your own. If they’d stop spamming my voicemail, I’d give them a 3 out of 5.

Great staff, coaches, and a nice, clean gym. Folks staffing the front desk are super friendly and helpful. The coaches are great in Cap Hill. I am so glad Coach Luis joined and is killing it with his energy, music, y sabor Latino. Coach Ida and Coach Evan are awesome and they each bring different styles of music and coaching to OTF.

Every coach at Cap Hill is fantastic, you are always going to have a great class! There is always more you can do to push to keep the workouts challenging and variety to keep it fresh. About to hit 200 classes with Orangetheory and so happy with the results I've seen since starting.

I absolutely love working out at Orangetheory in Cap Hill! The staff is always friendly and helpful, the equipment is kept in good condition, and the coaches are excellent. I am so glad I get to call Cap Hill my home studio!

Motivating, fun staff! Classes are fun and music is good. Shoutout to the coaches for giving it there all, especially Luis, the head coach. Take a class with him and you won't regret it!

One word - Cosmo!! His classes are great & he is the type of person who will hype you up and lift your spirits.The location is good, the rowing machines could use an upgrade to the electric screens like in other orange theories. If you also end up on the tread as your last workout, you don’t get a lot of space to stretch :( the lounge & locker area is also pretty cramped. no towels here (at least I’m aware of) so bring your own!
