Came for a class here while visiting the city. Was made to feel super welcome by everyone at the front desk. And the trainer was fantastic! Will surely come again ?

Everyone was so welcoming! Being greeted by name when I first walked in for my first class was such a nice touch! Katie, the coach, was encouraging and attentive. She checked in on me multiple times during the workout and also corrected my form when I was doing something wrong. I appreciated all of it!

Haven’t been to other OTFs, but this sometimes feels a bit tight on space. But that aside, its great. The front desk folks are very nice - they put in the effort to remember your name, definitely appreciate that.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. TOTAL SCAM. RUN AWAY NOW. Such a waste of time and energy. Unsupportive and disrespectful staff, money hungry animals who genuinely want to screw you over and provide low quality service. I purchased the heart rate arm band and was ready to commit to services but the band never even worked for me and the staff could not have cared less, they didn't even attempt to remedy the situation. They spam call you 1000000 times after you click on an ad but once you are a paying customer, they no longer even answer your calls. Props to them for finding the biggest loopholes in their contract so they can better take advantage of people. Will always remember how terrible they were and whenever ANYONE I know mentions orange theory, I make sure they run the opposite direction. WORST GYM EVER, save yourself now!

The classes are amazing because the instructors are amazing. They work hard on their routines, they introduce new and interesting elements all the time, and they genuinely care about people in the class.

UPDATE: The studio manager left voicemails for me, letting me know that they had maintenance come in to check and fix the locks. She also said she actually wants to talk to me about it, and offered me a free session. I'll give them another star for trying to make things right. Personally, I feel like they need to post signs on the door to remind people to knock before barging in. While I appreciate the free class, it's only good for 90 days, and honestly, I want to make sure that the person involved forgot about it and I doubt he will in 90 days. I'm going to need more time than that before going back there. I haven't had the chance to speak with the manager yet, but will do soon. I just had to praise their efforts for trying to make it right.ORIGINAL: I no longer feel comfortable or safe at this Orangetheory location. Just yesterday, as I was changing my clothes and using the restroom, a man walked in on me. I obviously pushed the door in just to make sure it's closed and I pushed the door again as I hang up my clothes. There's a button on the door you push to lock it. More so I knew it was locked because when the guy opened it, it clicked and pushed out. So I have no idea how it happened, but it did, and I was glad that the staff canceled my session without charging me because I told them that the person is probably in my class and I don't feel comfortable. But what I also didnt like was the way how they apologized. It didn't seem sincere, but I'm not sure if they were embarrassed as well. And to be honest, their "moods" are hit and miss. Somedays they're nice, but other days, not so much. Staff at the Ballard location are so much nicer! The layout is also pretty small. When we had to do medicine ball exercises next to the rowing machine, it felt like I was going to hit the treadmills. I also had to squeeze pass other people to get a medicine ball. The workouts are great though. Orangetheory doesnt make me feel nauseous, and I love the rowing machines. OT gets a star for the great workouts and for my good experiences at the Ballard location. But they need to fix things at the Lower Queen Anne location.

I love Orangetheory and have been a member for years. This particular location is always off - staff are not friendly or welcoming, the instructors have strange arbitrary rules (like forcing cleaning wipes when I prefer just to grab my own). Yesterday's class with Jess underscored why I avoid this location. I usually choose classes that work with my schedule, but in the future will go out of my way to avoid this studio. I love the Capitol Hill and Wallingford locations.

Started going here since early March and it has been a really great experience! They change up the workouts every day so it never gets repetitive. All the front desk staff and coaches are really great and supportive. Highly recommend to anyone trying to get fit at any fitness level. You can choose your own intensity. The mobile app is also really great, it shows you all the date of your workouts including heart rate.

I’ve tried a few different classes/gyms in the Seattle area and this one is by far the best! The coaches and front desk really make an effort to get to know you, understand your fitness goals, and push you to the level you feel comfortable with. An approachable place to go whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or need a coach to push you further

I am obsessed with OTF! Jess is also an amazing instructor and always kicks my butt. She's so motivating and encouraging.

I have been a member at OTF, specifically this location, for a year, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Most of my classes have been with Amy, Lanna (no longer at this location regularly), and Jess who are all amazing! The few classes I have taken with Mori have been great as well! It is always a great workout with the huge perk that you just show up and do whatever template the coach leads you through that day, takes the stress out of planning your workout. I have also had nothing but good experiences with everyone that works up front. A plus is free parking in the QFC parking garage.

I called to cancel my membership, they said they unable to cancel because my account is on freeze. So I had to wait till next bill date, that means I only can cancel my membership after they charge my next bill. That’s crazy and unfair! The reason I put my account on freeze my legs was injury, now I just want to cancel my membership, and they still want to charge me!!! DO NOT JOIN THEIR MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!

Key points for my first experience in this OTF:1. Staff was not encouraging/helpful for new customer's trial class2. Even you know how everything work in OTF, you still have to arrive 30mins early for a "studio tour" in order to take the trial class3. Studio is small and can get super packed4. Coach was not clear about workout instructionAs a former member in OTF, I know how everything works in the OTF gym but was trying to book a trial class in a new location, the lower Queen Anne OTF. I told the receptionist, Jordan, I’m familiar with the setting, the workout schedule and having the heart monitor they used. I was trying to see if the coach was energetic or encouraging enough for me to start working out in this location. Unfortunately, Jordan insisted in asking me to arrive 30min before class to give me a “studio tour” even I knew how things work and what I want in this location. I arrived there 15min before class and she refused to get me register for the trial class because I couldn't arrive 30min in advance and the only solution was either rescheduling class, arriving 30mins before class and take the “studio tour” or I have to buy an individual class on my own. I ended up paying $30 for an individual class coz in my opinion, my time and purpose are more important than that.Unfortunately, the studio was small and the coach was not really clear on instructions. For example, they only have 11 treadmills/rower while the location I used to go have 14 and extra exercise bikes. Also, it’s a 2G class and by the end of the cardio session, Alondra said we can either stay in the treadmills or change to rowers but didn't give us more instruction on what will we do in the last part, base pace? push? allout? and how long? It's pretty confusing at this moment. I saw not only myself but some of the runners started looking around and asking each other for more clarification. And by the time we figured out, half of the time was passed. As I said above, the studio is really samll and when you have 11 ppl on the floor working out for the second half of the class, the area is super packed. I noticed the person next to me quit the class early due to the super packed situation. And when I stretched out my arm as workout instruction, I could literally touch the next person's shoulder. The list keeps going, not suprisingly. After class, they didn't even care to ask about my first class experience or so. Just standing there, waiting for the next classes registration coming in. By the time I left, there's only 3 or 4 ppl besides the OTF staff and coach.Long story short, there's better OTF locations than the Lower Queen Anne one. I love OTF but just not this one.

Would have given 0 star worst corporate policies to cheat and fraud customers. Please understand their cancellation policies before joining .We were not communicated cancellation policy while joining which requires to give one billing cycle notice if you want to cancel. Which according to me is unfair and unreasonable to have for a gym of fitness center.Don’t trust their employees as they would lie to save their faceReply to ownerDoesn’t look like you would be able to resolve it. Else it would have been resolved in morning when we wested our half an hour so please don’t comment here just to look good
