I recently purchased a Pacific range hood from this store to replace the old one in my house. The old one was not effective in removing smoke and greasy air while cooking, which triggered the smoke detector multiple times. However, I am extremely satisfied with the Pacific range hood as it has never triggered the smoke detector since its installation.
Furthermore, I am very impressed with the excellent service provided by this store. Yesterday, I encountered an issue with the lights on the hood and reached out to Alex, the owner of the store. He checked the purchase record and found that the original installer had already gone on holiday. Despite this, he came to our house today and fixed the issue quickly without charging any fees. Overall, I am very happy with my experience with this store and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new range hood.

I walked into the store having done some research on Fotile and Pacific Range Hood models and with very basic idea of what I was looking for (high CFM, relatively quiet). Alex was very helpful in helping me settle on the right model, taking into account things like the positioning of my existing over-the-range microwave.
When it turned out that I had misremembered my OTR microwave venting type (it vents through the wall rather than through the roof), Ken (the suggested install technician) and Alex were incredibly gracious, letting me switch out the hood I'd just bought for another one that would work correctly in my space.
On the whole, the entire experience was overhelmingly positive, and I highly recommend the store, Alex, Ken, and the products themselves to anyone looking to purchase a range hood in the Seattle area. They also seem to be a great resource for any other kitchen needs (bowls, plates, chopsticks, pots, pans, etc.)

The Pacific Range Hood store on South Jackson St. In Seattle was by far my best experience shopping for an appliance in recent memory. Alex, the store owner was very honest and provided clear options for the kind of Range Hood that I was looking for. The pricing was transparent right from the start till I decided on the exact model I wanted which made the transaction super simple. He even helped me load the appliance in my car himself and arranged for the installation which again was prompt and neatly done by their referred technician. Shopping experience for big ticket items should be a breeze like this and it’s a pleasure to recommend Pacific Range Hood on South Jackson St. In the International District south of downtown Seattle. Bye bye cooking odors! I’ve attached pictures of before and after replacement of cooktop microwave with the Trusteam Range Hood I picked.

I spent a month shopping around before I returned to Modern Trading Co. to make my range hood purchase. Amazon was offering the same product at a lower price point, but just before I decided to buy on Amazon; the vendor on Amazon raised their prices. I went back to Modern Trading Co. in hopes I could haggle down the price, but instead the owner made the process super easy. He matched the price on Amazon, knocked off a few % and gave me a 60 dollar gift item just for shopping at his store. No one could come close to matching his price and providing top notch customer service. If you’re still shopping around and haven’t found a good deal yet, make sure to visit Modern Trading Co.

Alex provided me with reasonable options for a range hood and was very knowledgeable and never pushy about it. Their installation contractor was great too, finished installation in just an hour.

This is an interesting store. Half of the store is selling cute Asian gifts while the other half of the store is selling appliances, including range hoods. I came here to check out range hoods after my 30-year-old range hood was no longer performing. I was looking at high CFMs, but the price for high CFMs at most stores was very high. One of my friends recommended me this place, so I came to check it out. The price here was much cheaper, comparing to the range hoods with the same CFM in other stores. The staff explained the models and the features to help us decide which model we should get. The installation service was an extra service that we had to pay, but it wasn't expensive. We were able to get it installed within a week. The service/installation guy was also very pleasant. I have used the range hood for months, and I am very satisfied. If you are looking for a powerful and affordable range hood, I would highly recommend you to check out this store.
