We spent there for 3.5 hrs but still not enough time to explore everything. This place is bigger than I expected so there’s a lot to explore and interact. The laser dome shows are the best, but have to make reservations prior the shows (you can choose from time slots). We enjoyed the Taylor Swift one as we were unable to check every show.If you adore butterflies they have a small butterfly garden which I loved! Also they have two Imax theaters but tickets are sold separately. There isn’t any place to eat or drink so you’d eat at Armory that is within only 3 mins walking distance.

We had dinner time so decided to visit since we had an affiliate astc passport program. It was a nice place for families. We didn’t go with our children but had a good time in the butterfly garden and laser show. It’s in a great location as well as there’s tons going on outside. Not as big as I expected and there were places that were out if service

Hard to complain about a place where you can drop your kids off for a day, sit back and relax. The center has lots of activities for kids to do and to be honest, as a parent I enjoyed the butterfly garden as well. The only down side is, of course, the fact that center opens at 10 instead of 9.

We could have easily spent the whole day here, but we only set aside 4 hrs, including the laser light show to finish! The butterfly room, the salt water pool, so many interactive items! The tinker room caught me by surprise. I could've spent a cpl hours in just that one space. Bring snacks as there is only a drink vending machine. No concessions.

We went to the Science Center as our day trip into Seattle and it is, hands down, the most enjoyable place I've been to in Seattle. They have a ton of small and large exhibits, a laser show, a planetarium, a tropical butterfly house, and a food court with a ton of enjoyable options! We didn't go to a laser show, but we did visit the planetarium and butterfly house (along with all the exhibits!) and had a blast. I paid for four hours of parking thinking it would be more than enough and I was wrong because the time flew by. Would recommend 10/10. Shout out to Alec at the Planetarium and Ellis at the Butterfly house for being awesome folks!

I have been bringing my nephew and niece to this place for years, yet it never occurred to me to write a review until now. Today, I had the pleasure of taking my mom and niece along. One of the things that has always impressed me about this place is its fantastic laser show, which never fails to captivate the audience. Additionally, they offer a plethora of interactive activities that engage children and even make studying enjoyable. It's a perfect destination for young children, as it combines entertainment and education seamlessly.

I don't know exactly where (thankfully there's Google maps for that ?️?) it is but somewhere in downtown Seattle is this really cool place. You've probably never heard of it and if you have then you probably had a good time when you were there. Well at least I had a great time ? Anyway I won't beat around the bush. You really should get your family out of the house and take a trip to the Pacific Science Center. There's tons of fun family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy. Who knew learning could be so fun ??

We are seeing the slow death of the Pacific Science Center. It was already under funded and lacked some imagination. Now, it just appears to be in disarray. The remaining exhibits are dated, worn, and unoriginal. Taking out the sneeze thing, really guys? During the pandemic? I'm sure someone found some obscure reason to remove it beyond budget purposes... But that seems like maybe the most important way to teach kids a simple lesson. The robot dinosaurs are going to become extinct, and maybe it's time to pacific science center does too. Our city is better than this.

Last time I was there was about 10 years ago. Not only has there been little to no change in the exhibits, much of it is in disrepair. The water features are drained, but there is no mention of that on the website. 3/4 of the dinosaurs didn't work. Planaterium show was disorganized. The laser show was outdated and underwhelming. I spent almost $100 and another $30 on parking. Felt cheated.

We have a year long membership. We have a lot of fun. My kids are elementary age. If you are a one time visitor you can plan to spend three or four hours here. They have great shows of topics like illusions, vibrations and our personal favorite, combustion. They are great for ages pre-k to 4th or 5th grade. I recommend getting to the small theater area 10-15 minutes prior to the show to get a good seat. The laser shows are fun as well. You can sit in a movie theater type chair or lay on the floor and see more of the show. I recommend laying down. Again, being a bit early helps the chances of getting a great view. There are many other things to do. I alway underestimate how much time it takes and how much fun they have. If you have curious children this is a great way to spend a day.

My first time to the science center was during the once a month Happy hour. My husband and I went for date night. By the looks of the crowd, the majority of the crowd had the same idea. Doors open at 5:30. parking across the is free at 6:00, so we only paid for 30 minutes. The menu included Meatball pasta. Street tacos, vegan salad, mixed drinks, beer, and non alcoholic berry lemonade. They accept cash and venmo. We enjoyed all the interactive exhibits, butterfly room, science shows and laser shows. Definitely recommend this happy hour to see the museum with a 21+ age crowd only.

Good for kids of all ages. Wide range of exhibits, tide pools to outer space, dinosaurs to musical instruments.Book early, admission includes free tickets to a laser show or planetarium. On a weekend I expect the shows will be full.Spent 4 hours there, if you spent time at some of the building stations, you could easily spend more.Good upgrade from the children's museum when your kids are a bit older.Butterfly habitat is especially nice on a cold winter day.

This place absolutely did nothing over the two years of pandemic shutdown when it had a golden opportunity to refresh its facility. It is just run down with no meaningful display and half the space is either closed it in construction. It is ridiculous that they even take money to let visitors in. This is coming from a season pass holder for my kid. The directors should be ashamed of themselves.

This place is great to take young kids to tweens. There is not a whole lot currently for the 14+ age group. When we went, about 40% or so of the hands-on experiences were closed. The maker space and butterfly experience was what kept the kids' attention the most. This has always been a fun outing for our family. I just wish there was prior notice of the exhibition closures. Still, with that said, it kept the kids entertained for just over 2 hours. Still a fun day trip with the family

Might seem like something just for kids, but as an adult I still really enjoy coming here!! They put on great laser shows, so get your friends and book one of those. I also just love exploring here, it's a great place for a rainy day.
