I'd give 0 stars since they refused to perform my oil change not once, but twice. I had an appointment booked last week and received a phone call less than an hour before saying they had to cancel because they didn't have a technician available. I rebooked for 7 days later (today). When I showed up they told me they couldn't honour my appointment time and that they had called me earlier in the week to reschedule again (they hadn't called). The guy at the desk (Victor) even tried to gaslight me saying that I didn't originally have an appointment that had been booked the previous week and that he had never called me to reschedule it (the guy who called me to reschedule my original appointment introduced himself as Victor). He also said that you couldn't book appointments online, even though I had and showed him proof of my online booking. Then he said their online booking system was wrong. Overall, just a horrible man to deal with. They don't seem to want new customers. They let someone else walk in and take my appointment time too because she was an existing customer. I went to Jiffy Lube instead and they got me in right away after I explained what I'd endured at Pep Boys. They said they get lots of complaints like mine.

They inspected a car for me and in addition to completing a thorough and fast inspection also offered advice on what to do with the car. In this case, steps I could take to seek action against a dealer who sold me a scam vehicle.

Absolutely worst experience buying tieres spent 1200 on 4 tires due to an emergency and a few weeks later they refused to help me with a flat.

The people here were so incredibly nice and amazing at what they do. They ordered a part for my car and fixed it up with such a short turn around time. They were also really generous in recognizing the unfortunate situation that led to me needing a tire and breaks replaced and knocked the labor costs down to help me out even further, which was nicer than I ever expected. Truly honest, up front people who do a great job. Will be going here and recommending this place to everyone in need of a hand. Thank you!!

Visiting Seattle and had a burst tire on the highway on my way home. I limped my car to pep boys and was blown away with how friendly and helpful the staff is. The lady at front desk eased my anxiety, offered me water and helped me calm down. Though they didn’t have my tire in store they helped me put on a spare and put me back on the road. The staff is reasonable, helpful and actually genuine. So grateful for them ! Faith in humanity restored :)

They upsell you and don’t check for recalls. I brought my Ford Fusion here that had its brakes fail because of a faulty hose. After I got it repaired I received a factory recall from Ford about the exact same issue. Pep Boys claimed anything they recommend to fix is necessary, like the master cylinder which ran the total over $1600.When I brought it in to the ford dealer for the recall reimbursement, they said the master cylinder replacement wasn’t necessary and didn’t make sense. The normal hose repair should have been around $200.These guys aren’t honest or fair, don’t bring your car here. Ford only sent me a check back for ~$200 for reimbursement.

I’d advise people to stay away from this place. They stress making an appointment to get your car seen, but they don’t keep to the appointment you make with them. Making an appointment is the ONLY way to get it seen. So I was told.Story Time: I scheduled an appointment on Saturday in person for the following Wednesday at 2pm. The latest available time they had for a week day. I live in Kirkland, and I had to leave work a few hours to make this appointment. 25 mins near the appointment time and 6 mins away from the place I get a call from the guy at the front desk. I’m assuming Daniel. My appointment had to be rescheduled because they had an emergency vehicle that was brought in. (In my head: Where’s the appointment?) The next available time to bring my car in was the following Thanksgiving week. I’m out of town.Thanks for wasting my time! Super unprofessional.

I recently called to schedule an appointment to get a ton of work done on my car. I spoke with Jesse the first time, who was great. I called back and tried to reschedule and spoke with a lady named Natasha I believe. Let's just say after speaking with her, I will never set foot in that place. She was incredibly unhelpful and rude.

Needed to get some repairs while I had limited time off from work, and the next appt at the dealership was weeks away. Thank gosh for Pep Boys! Pep Boys had same day availability. I had such an incredible experience I will return, and NEVER go to the dealership for repairs again. Pep Boys SODO went above and beyond for the following reasons:Excellent communication: They kept me updated throughout the process! Tracking was easy on their app as well. I am not going to lie, I don’t know much about cars and they kept everything in laymans terms. I’ve never worked with a team that made sure I understood my cars needs and all of the options.Speed of service: I have had my car at the dealership for days for half of the service they delivered in 2 hours! I got replacements, inspection, rotation, alignment etc. all within 2 hours on the same day of service.Pricing: I paid less than half of what I usually do. Additionally, they offer sooo many free perks (inspection, etc.)!

Went to pep boys In West Seattle on Wednesday of last week, was diagnosed with a faulty alternator. They were quick and easy and took my car in the second I went in. Repair went quickly, took about 4 hours of labor and wasn't insanely expensive. Customer service was 10/10, absolutely great people working there that made me chill out after coming in a panic.Now fast forward to 2 days ago, my car began to die quickly and made the executive decision to get a second look at it from West Seattle Auto. Turns out pep boys had sold me a garbage alternator that was draining my battery. Called a few minutes ago saying I can provide proof of purchase, receipts and diagnostics from West Seattle Auto all proving the alternator THAT THEY SOLD ME was a faulty part and was better off as scrap. Got hit with a total change in tone and was told "We don't do refunds unless we change the part out ourself, it's in the fine print" how great is that! Pep boys practically stole money from me, love it. Would recommend any Tire/Brake/Cosmetic work done here but for the love of god don't let these idiots replace any parts under the hood.

I have appointment from Amazon for today at 9am. Jessie, the manager, told me he doesn't have me in the system. He rescheduled me for 5days later. He took no responsibility for pep boys fault for scheduling mistake. he blamed amazon and me for scheduling appointment with west seattle. Both I and Amazon associate explained that on the record there is an appointment, see photo. I actually like this pep boys when the previous manager was running it. But Jessie doesn't represent pep boys in any good nature. I told him this mistake has made me very unhappy and his response was that "if you feel that way, you can take your tires and have someone else install it". Pepboys, if youre reading this, contact me, im willing to help in any way possible. This Jessie should not be representing your brand.
