I used to love coming here. This WAS my go to pet store. I spent thousands of dollars in here. All the sales folks were always helpful to me and very kind. Then one day I had the owner check me out and I did not have my card with me, so called my husband to read our card to her - I have done this before and all the other sales people are very pleasant and take the phone and run the card thru for me. The cashiers can see when they pull my phone number up for frequent buyer rewards, that I come in almost every week and spend a hundred or more each visit. This time, the owner looked at me like I was trying to hand her a dead rat! I told her what was happening and she said in a very snippy tone, "Why?" I said, "Because my husband has our card and will read it you over the phone." She said nothing, but shoved the card reader at me. I looked at it confused for a minute not understanding. She said nothing. Meanwhile other customers are looking at us and it was quite embarrassing. I asked her, "Do you want me to use this to charge the card manually myself?" "Yes," she said again very snippy. Having never been a cashier in my life I had not used this machine, but I guessed my way thru it and handed it back to her. She said nothing. I then took my package. I quickly remembered I had forgotten to ask about an item I was looking for and mid-sentence turned to ask her. She had quickly moved to talk to another customer and greet him kindly. She looked at me, in annoyance, "I thought we were done." "Never mind, excuse me." I said kindly as I could. Mind you this has always been a place I enjoyed coming. I am disabled with MS (I have come in here with my can and in a wheelchair) and animals are my world now. I own four rescues and care for many other animals. I am sad to say, the way I was treated today I will NO longer shop at Pet Elements. I wanted to support a local store. But, I'd rather shop at home on-line than be treated with that much disrespect and disregard. Please realize, you never know what your customers (or anyone) are going thru or why they may need to do something differently one day to the next. If they have shown to be trustworthy, repeat customers who spend a lot of money in your place of business, treat them as if they matter. I left feeling so terrible and all I did was go shop for food for my furry family members. Hello Chewy.

I always receive excellent service, but today was above and beyond! All my questions were answered, and the product she recommended was a hit with my picky cats. I love my neighborhood pet shop!

Just love this place. Took my daughter that's 12 to get all she needed for her Betta tank. They were so helpful and just seemed happy to be there. Anyways we bought our fish but we were not ready for it. They held it for us for over a week. When we came back there was this super nice gentlemen that was being very helpful and telling us he would give us a bunch of coupons. He ended up being the owner. It was just a great store and a great experience.

The staff here are helpful and knowledgeable. So many choices to be had. I would choose Pet Elements over the big-box pet supply stores any day.

Pet Elements truly cares about pets and their well-being. They aren't afraid to spend time to talk with you about what your pet needs and really problem solve how best to help. My cat has IBS and it's been a journey to find the right food that will help her feel better. Pet Elements has been there every step of the way and provided support for her as we figure out what her stomach can handle. Can't recommend them enough!

The friendliest staff, ever! My rescue dog is shy, but loves treats and every single person who works here is so sweet and patient when giving her treats and attention. I really feel like they care about your pets here, which is shown both in how they interact with animals and what they stock for them. By far our favorite pet supply in all of Seattle.

Kris at Pet Elements put the biggest smile on me and my pup’s face! She was super helpful with a particular product I was looking for and after hearing about my poor pup’s split ear, gave him some treats on the house.
