The animals were not in the correct habitats and most had no water. Animals that were supposed to be separate were together and the budgies had clipped wings. This is ridiculous.

It's a bit overpriced, but otherwise, it's a good place to go for a variety of pet care supplies and the staff are very friendly and helpful!

I had such a great experience at this Petco, especially with their amazing grooming team! I brought in my dog, who usually gets very anxious during grooming sessions, but the staff handled him with so much care and patience. They did an outstanding jobāhis coat came out soft and shiny, his nails were trimmed perfectly, and even his teeth were cleaned really well. You could tell they really know what they're doing and genuinely care about the animals. Shoutout to the amazing grooming team!!
The store itself is also fantastic. They have almost everything you could need for your pet - affordable and great quality. Considering my dog who destroys almost every toy, the store has good quality toys which I donāt have to think twice before buying.
Highly recommend both the grooming services and the store overall.

Absolutely unprofessional. Wethir K completely wasted our time and treated us with a level of disrespect that Iāve never experienced from any groomer before. He refused to groom our dog simply because he couldnāt handle her ā even though our dog is 4 years old and has done countless grooming sessions over the years without any issue.
It was shocking to see how poorly he handled her ā even the way he held her was completely wrong, making her visibly anxious and agitated. Any experienced groomer would know that holding a dog incorrectly will make them nervous ā how can you blame the dog for that? Instead of trying to calm her down or adjust his handling, he just gave up and told us she was ānot trained,ā which was incredibly rude and mean.
We drove a long way to get there, waited outside for a long time, only to be turned away because he couldnāt do his job. It felt like we were being unfairly treated, and honestly, Iām still furious thinking about how poorly we were treated.
To make things worse, when we explained how we wanted the paw fur to be trimmed ā rounded around the toes, not cut short to expose the nails ā he straight-up said he didnāt understand what that meant. What kind of groomer doesnāt understand that? Luckily, we had printed a photo for reference, and he stared at it for ages before finally getting it.
This entire experience was frustrating and disappointing beyond words. We had just taken our dog to another grooming salon days before and the groomers there praised how well-behaved and adorable she was. Wethirās lack of skill and attitude cost us 1-2 hours of our valuable time and caused a lot of unnecessary stress.
To make matters worse, after this experience, we found out that other customers have encountered the same issue with this exact groomer. Clearly, this is not a one-time problem ā itās a pattern. This groomer is unprofessional, unwilling to take responsibility, and has no place working in a grooming salon where trust and animal handling skills are essential.

The Interbay Petco is the Cat's MEOW!
I visited the Interbay Petco this past Saturday. Only David - the manager and Sam at the frontend were working in the store. WOW! I was blown away by the customer service they provided. They never complained or needed to explain the staffing. Sam served a never-ending line of customers with a fab perspective. David carried out the cat tree and placed it in my car.
I stopped by today to pick up a few items for my big boy orange tabby - Bodie. Sam, once again, gave stellar customer centered service.
I had been to a different Petco last Friday. Short staffed and different attitude. It shows the difference in team members and their attitudes can impact a store's culture and customer care.
Keep up the customer centered service, and I'll keep coming back!

Unbelievable customer service! Joe went above and beyond to ensure we were fully taken care of. Even though we were there 5 minutes after they closed, he showed no impatience and made sure all our questions were answered and found what we were looking for. I highly recommend this location.

We brought our senior club here while out in the community for them to have a little sensory tour and see some animals which give them meaningful connection in their day. Joe , the store employee was so kind to pull out a few of the animals from their lodging places and artificial habitats to let our seniors pet them. He was gentle, patient , eager to help and serve , and he was fun. He knew how to handle the animals very well to and made us all feel comfortable and safe. He also was knowledgeable about them so we all learned some facts and it made the tour a better experience . We thank the store and Joe, it made the senior's day and brought a lot of Joy. Thank you.
