Pharmaca discontinued its pharmacy with no warning (and to be clear, we have received text messages in the past so clearly this was a conscious decision to inconvenience their (former) customers). We are now scrambling to fill prescriptions as the pharmacy we were transferred to (without our consent) is overwhelmed - fingers crossed they actually pick up their phone when we ask our new pharmacy to request a transfer. And to the corporate executive who blessed this mess - medicine can be a life and death matter. I hope the bad karma associated with this crap decision is epic. We'll be contacting the attorney general's office to file a formal complaint Monday.

I tried to like this pharmacy but it's been terrible. They're non responsive, their site is awful - I can't even create an account to manage prescriptions because the site requires you to input the pharmacy you filled the prescription at. Except the list of locations doesn't include all of their pharmacies so it's impossible to use. I tried to use their refill by phone option last week and haven't heard anything. Supposedly, I'm signed up to receive text updates but of course I haven't. I've called several times and no one has answered.

I had good experiences here when it was owned by Pharmaca. It is now owned by Medly. Perhaps the former staff have left or just weren't there during my visit. The pharmacy staff in the past did a nice job. My interaction this time was not very good. The person ahead of me in line tried to pick up a prescription and the woman behind the counter didn't seem interested in helping him without seeing a text message that it was ready first. Fortunately, she was able to give me the prescription I came to pick up even though I wasn't notified by text that it was ready (when this was Pharmaca, I did get texts). She didn't inform me that the medication wasn't covered by my insurance. When I asked if they had submitted a claim to my insurance, she didn't really respond. I had to call my insurance company later to find out.It was my first time getting this particular prescription and she didn't check to see if I had any questions about it. In my experience, pharmacists typically ask that when you fill a prescription for the first time and warn you about potential side effects. She seemed really bored by the entire transaction.Medly has reconfigured the pharmacy counter so that the drop off and pick up areas are no longer at separate ends of the counter. It wasn't super private before, but it is even less so now, if there are other customers present.Overall, this is a disappointing change to what was a nice neighborhood pharmacy. I do appreciate that it is conveniently located and offers free parking and easy bus access.

As Jeff Mentioned, Pharmaca sold its pharmacy to Medly. Its kinda standard in the pharmacy business for this to happen. That being said this transition to Medly has been a spectacular mess. There is no way to access your online records. I've had spotty results using the telephone system to order refills. (It worked once, then it didn't.)To top it off, in the last prescription I got from them, it included the prescription information, name and address of someone else. (I reported the HIPPA violation to the appropriate government agencies, and mailed the prescription information to the patient.)Also, they use these damn cloth bags. Sure it looks nice, but its one of the most environmentally intensive packaging methods, especially for something that I guess most people don't have a second use for. They also apparently don't follow up on prescription refill requests. I couldn't request one online, so I used the damn touch tone telephone thing, which worked in the past. I had like ten days until I ran out of the medicine, and I heard nothing from them. So I tried to call the pharmacy on the phone to follow up. That is a herculean effort which requires calling the retail side of the store, complaining, then waiting for them to call you back. Once I did, they said they had requested it from the doctor, but they didn't know how long ago they did so, and they didn't make a second request. I checked at a different pharmacy, and the pharmacist stated that they'll follow up in two to three days if they don't get a refill from the doctor. So this is pathetic. So one final interaction to add to this. I had an inkling that my doctor might've sent my prescription here. So I stopped by and this is roughly how the conversation went:Me: Yeah, I'd like to pick up a prescription, I'm not sure if you have it.Pharmacist: Could I have your date of birth and name?Me: (Gives her that info.)Pharmacist: I see it, but we haven't filled it.. Give me a moment... Uhh, we can't fill it.Me: Oh, so just to confirm, since you said it both ways, you can't fill it.Pharmacist: (Nondescript murmors.)Me: Well, you did a poor job on closing this customer service experience.Seriously, how damn hard is it to say, "I'm sorry, we don't have any refills that we can fill, would you like us to contact your doctor?" or even the less helpful, but still direct. "I'm sorry we don't have any refills that we can fill, you'll need to call your doctor."All in all, this seems like Medly doesn't have the technical systems in place to manage the amount of prescriptions they have, and its wearing down their staff immensely. I'd steer strongly clear of them for at least the next nine months, if not forever.

Pharmaca sold its pharmacy and patient medical records and personal information to Medly without notifying customers or giving them a chance to opt out.Pharmacy's website is being used misleadingly to book services despite no longer being in operation - as Medly is filling all its prescriptions and immunizations. Medly is a startup with unknown reputation.

My pharmacy for over 10yrs now! Love the pharmacists, know me by name. Can get B-12 injection without prescription. Natural body products, vitamins, make-up, gifts, etc. Carry some local and fair trade brands as well. Knowledgeable staff, usually health and wellness background.

I love this company. When I lived closer and prior to COVID, I used to enjoy their spa days when reps from various companies would demonstrate products on customers. I got to have facials, which I wouldn't do ordinarily. Trying the products made selecting easier. Now that I'm doing much of my shopping online, Pharmaca.com is my go-to place for all of my vitamins and supplements. If you're a loyal customer, you get notice of sales and it makes healthy living affordable!

Ever since moving to Seattle, I was looking for a compunding facility that could craft a tuna flavored med for my cat. I used to easily find flavored versions of these meds in California, but that wasnt the case in Seattle.. until I found Pharmaca. Technically, their compounding lab is in Portland, but they ship to Seattle, so it works out. We were able to pick up from the Pharmaca in Wallingford Center, which is a stone's throw from our place - very convenient. On a side note, their store welcomes you with a gorgeous herbal aroma and is very well stacked with a bunch of goodies. Will definitely go back to check out.

They are SO helpful and encouraging. Wide selection of vitamins, naturopathic remedies, etc. The vitamins I purchased were priced the same as Amazon, but I didn't have to wait.

Really like this pharmacy. They are helpful, prompt, and in general it's a nicer atmosphere, which helps make the overall experience more pleasant.
