I bought 1/2 gallon of 2% milk there on 1/13/25. Carton said it was good until 1/27/25. IT WAS SOUR! When I returned it & told owner milk was sour, he said "NO REFUND." I used my last EBT $ to buy that milk. I won't be able to buy more milk until 1/31/25 when my next Social Security check arrives or 2/5/25 when my whole $23 in EBT food stamps arrives. I am a 73-year-old disabled widow who had to walk to that store with the help of my walker. That store is closer to me than QFC, which is cheaper, but I have no vehicle so I have to walk to any store I go to. However, I won't be able to use this little store because the owner is corrupt & has no problems stealing from hungry, impoverished widows.

Going in , I knew Pikes Grocery’s prices were expensive because of the information in the welcome kit provided by my Airbnb host. However, I went there because of the convenience of the location and I was simply too tired to walk further.
From the time I walked in the store, the clerk was unpleasant and rude. To add insult to injury, he did not give me back my change and was insistent that he did. It was only change but nevertheless it was my change due. I am having wonderful time in Seattle and didn’t want my first trip here marred by this rude store clerk. 9ish in the evening; take a class in hospitality and customer service.

Very rude service. The teller threw change at me when I attempted to pay the bag fee. Don’t waste your time the prices are unreasonably high and the store is cluttered and dirty.

2 out of the 3 products I bought from this place were expired... Beer expired 3 months ago and an energy drink that expired 1 year ago.. unacceptable tbh but the cashier was nice

the owner really thinks he can price tag the whole store $8 $9 on EVERYTHING, for items that are $4 $6 at a normal store!? what a goofball move! it was never a discount store for sure, but making up prices? insane!

No longer does sandwiches. Menu board is covered over and the cashier says they have a new owner so no more sandwiches.

Sad to learn the deli is closed. The sandwich options were good and conveniently located. The family behind the counter were always polite and efficient.
