If you want to support small smart business owners shop here! Walgreens is 1/2 block away and consistently looks like it’s ready to close down permanently Walgreens cashiers appear miserable and are often rude. Walgreens refrigerated beverage section is 75-90% empty most the time. it wasn’t a one time fluke. I used to check almost daily since it’s across from my bus stop. Never has individual sodas, literally zero, Arizona iced tea, milk - any non-alcoholic beverages in cooler. Less than a minute walk, west on Pine you’ll get good service, selection and even a smile at Pine Food Store.

Finally was able to find the Beatbox Hard Tea pack here! and OMG did not disappoint. This pack has been hard to find in stores so I am very happy to have found them here <3

It's a corner store. Hundreds of people cruise through daily. It's in Capitol Hill. Come in, get beer, cheap snacks and get out. This ain't a Wal-Mart. People bash on this locally owned business expected way too much. I do here daily.

Went to the store to purchase a drink on Friday July 24 at 9:30 pm. Picked up the wrong flavor so I turned around and went to put that one back and got the flavor I actually wanted and the clerk racially profiled me and accused me of stealing a second drink which I had already placed back in the cooler. Didn’t offer any apology when he discovered he had wrongly accused me. And on top of that refused to sell me the drink. Never will I ever go there again.

My bf just moved into the area. We were walking around to see what is around him and I was thirsty so we decided to pop in this corner store to get a drink. It's your typical corner store and the owner is a nice Asian man. This is totally our go to spot for last minute drinks/snacks since it's the closest store. The outside looks sketchy but it's fine once you walk inside.

Looks a little shady outside, but don't let it stop you. Perfect place for some snacks or quick groceries.

Avoid this place. They change prices at checkout, hoping you won't notice. The staff is unprofessional, rude, incompetent, and larcenous. There's one guy who, when you ask for a bag, grimaces like he's just been punched in the stomach, then hands you a too small paper bag -- expects you to bag it yourself with his tiny, inadequate bag. Must have psychological issues with size and inadequacy...Textbook example of people who hate their customers. Worst kind bottom feeders. Avoid. Awful staff.

Little local market with decent hours. A man approximately in his 30s waited on us. We were visiting from out of town and purchased $35 worth of drinks, snacks and candy to take back to our hotel. The cashier tried cramming all our items into a far too small and very thin paper bag (think liquor store paper) and in the process started mashing down and crushing couple of bags of chips in an attempt to get it to all fit. As he tried to slide the bulging bag across the counter things were falling out of the top and the side began to rip slightly where the edge of a can of soda had pierced through. This was to be carried approximately 1/2 a mile. I literally said " I'm sorry but could we trouble you for a couple more bags it looks like this won't quite hold all those items and the bag is started to tear". The cashier looked at me clearly irritated and silently flung two bags across the counter at us and turned around and kept his back to us until we left. So... there is a Walgreens just up the street and if it is open, I'd recommend going there. I generally like supporting small local business, but due to the poor customer service we received, I can only advise this place is a last resort if other "friendlier" options are not available.
