Similar to other recent shoppers, I had a very condescending experience with some old guy with long white hair when I went to look at skis. If he would have stopped patronizing me I would have actually considered buying something since they have a reasonable selection, but overall not worth returning to if this guy is working. This is why people get turned off by the "outdoors community" ! Really too bad.

Purchased a brand new set of skies, boots and snow gear yesterday. I wasn’t planning on purchasing a whole new set but they had an awesome selection and a few really key items on sale for the end of the season. Dave was so helpful and patient setting me up! I’ll for sure be back.

Been here 3 times in the last month and have felt patronized by the folks working. First time, I asked about renting skis for the season and was told there were none available and that they didn’t know of any shops that had season rentals this late into the year (promptly called a shop in Shoreline said they in fact did) and best of luck next year. Second time, super friendly guy helped me get a bibs and googles. Unfortunately the bibs were too long over my ski boots after I had worn them once and took the tags off but noticed a 30 day return window, didn’t realize they couldn’t be returned if I had worn them. Third time I came in was to ask about the return and the man at the counter said “nope then it would just be a rental”, another man at the counter echoed him in front of a couple other customers. The whole experience was brief but very off putting. They could have just said they don’t accept returns on anything worn and that would’ve been fine. Didn’t feel like I needed to be talked to like that.

TLDR: Decent products, mediocre staffI went in knowing little to nothing about ski gear and was hoping the staff would be able to help out. The guy at the counter was very uninterested and straight up just walked away mid conversation when I told him I was unsure about buying something. The people who I suspect were the owners (old married couple) however were kind and helped me find a nice pair of ski boots for a good price. After being told they’d fit it for me when I found a pair of skis however, I came back and was lectured by another employee about how I should have come earlier since it “will take a couple of days” to fit a pair of boots to bindings and that it would cost $50-60 to do so, and “any other place would charge something similar”. Well I did end up taking it to another place instead, which did it in 15 minutes and charged me $15 -_-

Recently purchased a bike off of FB marketplace and needed to have it checked up as well as a tune up. The staff took my bike in for a few days and gave it back in tip-top shape! They were also super helpful and knowledgeable about what needed to be done and how I should be taking care of various parts. In the end, they mentioned my bike was already pretty tuned up and only charged me for the items they replaced/fixed. Will definitely be coming back for any bike service needs!

Rude, disdainful service, and no parking. Staff were very unhelpful. Never going back!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Traded in some golf clubs and walked out with a Ping G410 3 Wood. Couldn’t be happier. Small golf selection, but there were very high quality, barley used clubs. Ping, Titleist, Taylor Made.

TL;DR - Play It Again Sports made stealth charges against my credit card, lied about sending receipts, and refused to communicate with me.Unfortunately, while eating lunch at Stevens Pass, my rented skis went missing from a ski rack right near the main lodge. I promptly informed Play It Again Sports about the missing skis, searched around the area for a few hours, and reported the missing skis to the lost and found at Stevens Pass. Unfortunately, the skis never turned up.That evening, while dropping off the poles, boots, and helmet to Play It Again Sports, the sales associate handling our returns told us the following:1. Play It Again would wait a few days to see if the skis showed up (in case someone accidentally picked up the wrong skis and eventually returned them) and then would notify us before making any charges on the credit card.2. If the full charge for the skis had to be paid, the cost of the rental would at least be refunded (we shouldn't both pay for the rental and "buy" the lost skis too). Both of these claims were proven false since two days after the rental, there was a charge (without any prior communication) for the full ski replacement made to the credit card on file and there was no refund. I would have never known that a charge occurred if I didn't have notifications turned on for my credit card.I have tried calling the store three times in the intervening weeks to get an explanation and have been informed each time that the manager wasn't available to address my concerns. I then sent an email to the manager of the store (Dave) explaining the situation and asking to at least receive a refund for the rental and a receipt. After 3 weeks went by with no response from the manager, I called yet again and a different rep claimed that the refund was already deducted from the full cost of the skis. When I asked for a receipt, this rep claimed he would send it over email, but it has been multiple days since then and I have not received anything.Obviously having skis stolen is unfortunate luck and I understand that it is ultimately our responsibility to pay for replacement skis, but I have been severely disappointed in how this whole ordeal has been exacerbated by the lack of transparency and communication from Play It Again. I have zero confidence that if my skis actually turned up to the store, I would get a refund.

This is not in a location that we would typically frequent being from Lynden. But, when we saw online that they had a new baseball bat in stock that we had been looking for, we decided to give it a try. We called ahead to make sure the bat was in fact in stock. The guy that answered the phone was clearly busy but still took the time to look for it. When he couldn't find it, he explained that he was in the middle of helping another customer but would be happy to call me back if I wanted. We decided to stop by and found the bat we were looking for. We were impressed with the selection of both new and used items. Including the latest high-end youth baseball bats. In store the employees were once again very busy helping other customers, but just as pleasant and helpful as on the phone.

Extremely helpful team - I purchased ski's, bindings, poles and boots here and it was a great experience. I was presented multiple options (new & lightly used) which was nice to price compare. Much better experience than REI down the street which is a bit crowded, expensive, and I didn't feel taken care of. Great news is that if you put a Play It Again sticker on your ski's you can bring them in for Free Wax Wednesdays! Highly recommend, thank you Play It Again Sports!!!!!

Extremely helpful staff, and surprising amount of new snowboarding boots! Went to REI first, and they only had one pair of snowboarding boots in my husbands size available. Play it again was just down the street, and we were pleasantly surprised by all the options! They also have a better return policy is an Evo, but not as good as REI.

Had a great experience shopping in the store, the staff was really helpful and informative. However, BE CAREFUL if you want to shop online. The product may be sold out already in the store and not being updated in time, even after you purchased and called for confirming to pick up. Then you got a product sold-out email after few hours and convinced you to buy another product without understanding what spec would fit you.... that is really disappointed. :(
