The instructors are super nice and supportive, and the atmosphere feels welcoming and non-judgmental. The workouts are challenging, but effective! The instructors make sure to help and provide alternatives if you need extra support. I can feel myself getting stronger with each class. I highly recommend taking classes at Pure Barre!

I'm obsessed with the new studio location. One of the most gorgeous Pure Barre studios I've ever laid eyes on! This is my absolute favorite workout, and I'm so happy that I found such a great studio when I moved to Seattle.

The Pure Barre WA community is inviting and inclusive all while giving you a great challenge in class every day! Two years again, I was invited by a couple friends from work to come take a class at pure barre and I have been going strong ever since! I appreciate the wide variety of classes offered by both this studio and the one at GL, allowing you to get cardio, strength training, and classic barre technique. The instructors are always helpful and friendly to chat to and the events put on by the studio is out of this world (barre at a mariners game, sounders game, on the pier, etc). I have also noticed that the strength I have built in barre has helped me improve in other hobbies such as climbing, hiking, and skiing.

I love Pure Barre. All the staff and teachers are so friendly. They go out of their way to learn everyone’s names and the teachers are great at giving pointers and correcting form. I’ve been going for a while and I really love it.

Can’t cancel membership auto-renew because their hidden “30-day notice” policy. The online portal says you can only cancel at a studio, the studio manager says you can must cancel through email, so how is it possible to cancel the next month 30 days beforehand!! That’s $199 gone. At the beginning, the company called me repeatedly to get me to a trial class and to encourage me to sign up for a membership. I received different promotional emails from them every day, none of them mentioned this “auto-renew and 30-day cancelation policy”, nor is it in my membership agreement email. So screwed up. The Pure Barre company offers the most deceptive membership service I knew of.

Pure Barre WA is the most welcoming fitness community I've ever joined! All of the instructors and staff are kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! I've had a great experience and will continue going as long as I can afford it (the memberships are a bit spendy). Highly recommend for a safe, challenging, and fun workout!

*30 DAY CANCELLATION POLICY* They require either a written notice or email to cancel the service. However if not done within 30 days, they will still charge you for one additional month. No one has notified me of such policy when i signed up, so I called and they say it's in the contract. So i asked can i at least downgrade (i had an unlimited membership) and then they say downgrade also requires 30 days, i can only upgrade, haha. It's my fault for not thoroughly reviewing the written contract (super bitter but true), but at the same time i'm assuming there's a lot of people like me out there getting charged one additional month due to their cancellation policy! Regarding the workout: I don't have a problem with their intensity, but a lot of their workout involve you lifting your heels for a long time. Of course it's up to you to decide how high (or even you do it at all) you go up, but not sure if it's really good for your knees. I started getting knee pain after doing pure barre. Plus the class can get extremely crowded so don't expect instructors to correct you often. Just make sure you know what you are doing! I personally don't think pure barre is for beginners at all.

I've loved going to barre this summer! The classes are intense and high-energy, and I started seeing results after about 6-7 classes. Fawn, Cameron, and Mia are amazing instructors, and made me feel welcome as a beginner!

I always know I will get a great workout when I go to class here. It's challenging, but manageable, so you never feel discouraged. I encourage anyone who is curious about Barre, to give Pure Barre a shot! I love how the workouts are structured, and I always feel sore (the good kind of sore) the day after I take a class if it's been a while. :)
