While some of the area surrounding the store isn't the nicest, this is THE place to go for high end, quality ingredients that you'd have trouble finding elsewhere. You may pay a few dollars extra but it will easily be worth it, fresh prepared foods, a great spread of meat and seafood, spices all the way down to oregano flower buds, a fun variety of ice creams and stop by the bakery to pick up The Cookie, you won't be disappointed.

it's relatively expensive but the quality and taste of products are so much better than other stores. Their flat bread (or poor naan) is a game-changer. They provide a diverse delicious cooked foods. It's better to try them soon!

Always busy but has everything you need. Nice to see the same long-time loyal employees. They have a garage accessible off Mercer. I usually walk or bus since it's so close by.

It's an alright store itself. But I'm a dasher so I get a lot of grocery orders there and let me tell you the first few times I went there I was beyond lost couldn't find anything and yeah I may have looked stupid going back and forth trying to find items but there was no reason for their security to basically follow me on every isle. I know it's a rough neighborhood, but instead of judging and assuming. Just ask

This place is cool, but you can frequently see homeless camped outside asking for handouts, or people running out of the store from the highly trained security. For the high prices you pay for items at this location, it’s kind of rough. Not the stores fault, but more of a city problem. Four stars is mainly because the prices for things here are astronomical in some cases. $8 for a half gallon of milk is wildin ($2.15 for returning the glass jar though)

Went to the final day of this bartells location, yes another Seattle bartells has now closed such a pity but had it remained open I wouldn't have gone back, the employees was rude, they didn't have any help for a person with disabilities, no motorized riding carts nor shopping carts just baskets which is terrible!! And $# were jacked up to full price with just a few "sale" items, totally sucked, I expected more from this store.goodbye bartells

It's fine, there is the metropolitan market and the FedEx store and other stuff, parking is fairly easy underground

Cute place but the bathroom is just a single stall in the room with a lock. It is weird.Besides that, I like the food a la carte and cute little knick knacks

A decent neighborhood market hub. Bartell Drugs on top, a grocery on street level. On site parking available. Bike parking available. Bartell is open 24/7.
