Ravenna Park feels like a little forest right in the city. The trails are great for walking, light hikes, or even biking through lots of shade

My personal history with this park goes back over 60 years. My mother grew up across the street before WW II. I've walked here so many times, alone or with so many special, special people, that I sometimes almost forget to enjoy the extraordinary wonders of the woods and streams and trails. I'll be back.

One of my favorite neighborhood parks. If I had to choose one thing about it I didn’t like it’s that there are a few homeless there. As a solo female walker I don’t always feel safe.
