Ravenna Park is a beautiful, shady area in the city that feels like a small forest. It offers great trails for walking, light hikes, and biking, with plenty of hills and stairs for those seeking more challenge. The park is convenient and especially good for beginners. Visitors can enjoy streams, woods, and trails that have been appreciated for over 60 years, making it a special place for many. There is a small wade pool with shade, perfect for relaxing. The park is popular with dog owners who enjoy the many streams and paths, often getting muddy and having fun. While it is a lovely and peaceful place, some visitors feel uneasy about the presence of homeless individuals, especially when walking alone. Illegal camping has been an issue but has mostly been cleaned up. Overall, Ravenna Park is a charming, hidden treasure in the city, loved for its natural beauty and accessibility.
Ravenna Park feels like a little forest right in the city. The trails are great for walking, light hikes, or even biking through lots of shade

My personal history with this park goes back over 60 years. My mother grew up across the street before WW II. I've walked here so many times, alone or with so many special, special people, that I sometimes almost forget to enjoy the extraordinary wonders of the woods and streams and trails. I'll be back.

One of my favorite neighborhood parks. If I had to choose one thing about it I didn’t like it’s that there are a few homeless there. As a solo female walker I don’t always feel safe.
