I went from being called honey and sugar and baby to being straight up ignored. I won't mention any names, but... It's become official that they will only give each member one bus pass per day. So... Things must be tight. I'm new to the place, and I like to stick to myself and a lot of people get offended by this, but ask me if I could give two ####s. At any rate, I'm wondering when they're going to get rid of me, because my anti-social attitude towards not wanting to converse a whole lot clashes with other peoples antisocial behavior that has to do with talking about other members of this group behind his or her back... I was hoping that this was going to be a place to look forward to going when I'm out and about and I would have a spot to go and get a coffee but it's not like that here. I just end up feeling like everything is trivialized. And I can sense the derision and disgust when I ask for bus tickets. Yeah sure right. It's like some little community where if ya don't fit in and I don't fit in then I gotta get sober elsewhere.

It was great! You can have your first 3 visits as a "guest" and then if you decide that you'd like to come more, then you just do a little orientation and become a member- which is free. They have really great lunches there, I'm not sure about other meals because I'm always there around lunch time. A nice ,roomy place to kick back and chill and maybe catch a meeting (A.A.or like)or the even have some classes or groups for tons of different interests. Everything from Yoga to Knitting and writing to learning Mindfulness...very supportive staff. Once a month they have a resource fair...check their site for details ..

Really nice Recovery Cafe with many features for guests: free lunches and coffee. They provide safe haven for those in recovery and quite often have resource fairs that include medical, dental and veterinary services.
