A decent market downtown but sadly not very health conscience. Today most employees were not wear masks or not wearing them properly risking people getting COVID from non-symptomatic individuals. If you care about your customers, make your employees wear masks and wear them properly (that means over their nose and mouth not hanging under their chin or just around their mouth).

Geeze! I thought that only lower end taverns and bars were Divish. This location has a very Depressing interior to start. Of course, this place is on Third Ave in Downtown Seattle - Seattle's Problem Alley,At any rate, I just went in to get a few drinks. The security guard is a Real Horse's A*** I am talking dropping a turd in front of you j**** This is an African American. The point here: This man has a Major League problem with any person that is Not an African American. Well, you go around expressing Hate towards those that are Not black causes people to hate you.

I'm glad to find this grocery store on the way to hotel. It was very convenient to find small dessert after all cafe/bakery were closed. The window shutter was closed and we have to use the side door to go down by the escalator. Around that door, lots of homeless people gathered and honestly it was very unpleasant. About dessert, I could find store baked key lime pie. But also I saw 4-5 days old pies. They set 10 days for expiring term. Mmm I felt it's kinda way too long. Taste wise, it might be not good neither. Please pay attention the expiry date. The cashier lady was friendly. On the deli counter, they don't display disposal folk and knife but the cashier might offer you. If you need them, ask it.

I.never come here. The worst location, that stupid anti loitering machine playing at all hours and the high prices may as well go to whole foods

Fried chicken is not easy to find downtown but if you ask the right people then you're set. My co-worker shared the tip with me and one day I took a 3rd Ave bus to the IGA across from ROSS. Been coming here ever since. The hot food deli case usually has a line of people formed around lunch time between 12-2. Same kind of hot food you would find at Freddy's and Safeway. Jojo's, chicken crispitos, burritos, chicken strips, corn dogs, mac and cheese and of course, fried chicken. Don't forget to ask for free condiments like ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, etc. I also like having a grocery store downtown. Sometimes I need to grab a loaf of bread or milk during the week and it's convenient picking up a couple things before heading home. Most of the employees smile and are genuinely nice. Only thing is the area around the IGA is sketch. Leave your valuables at work and don't engage in conversation. Nodding is ok but keep walking. Too many times have I seen transplants and tourists get caught up in awkward conversations. I walk away thinking, "They gonna learn today!"

They have an anti loitering device which emits a very high pitched noise at the entrance of the store. It gives me a headache while waiting at the bus stop across the street. I will never shop here as a matter of principle.

Located right outside the HEB. Got what I needed with no problems.

This store uses a high pitched anti loitering noise machine which carries both into the store, and to the bus stop across the street, making for a painful experience for patrons and for people just trying to catch a bus home. This store should be fined. See image for noise machine coming from the black cage at their rngr Update: I found moldy bacon here once. See image

Not terrible for a downtown supermarket. They actually have great prices on beer and wine. Food selection is decent, they just don't offer as much as other grocers. However, you can definitely find what you need. The only true downfall is the location. Unfortunately the entrance is on 3rd Ave and if you are a local you know exactly what I'm talking about. If you aren't, you will have to pass a lot of beggars and addicts just to get to the entrance. Nevertheless, you can find most any grocery item you need here!

Horrific service. I stop there for 10 minutes in a long line where the cashier counted change and didn't tell anyone she was sorry about the line. Then when I complained about it and said it was frustrating, I was asked to leave because I was not happy with the service. Horrific people. Never again. Peace out miserable people.

If you work in the downtown area and are open to the idea of grabbing something quick or bringing something back to the kitchen of your work place this is the place to stop by. A large supermarket in the down town area there's tons of options for produce (making your own salad) and other common soup, dried goods options for lunch and grabbing something to cook for dinner. The other day I grabbed some onions, bell peppers, and chicken to avoid the Safeway trip on my way home. The prices being that it is in the down town area are a little costly but aside from that, it is a great stop if you're looking to pick up one or two items. I also from time to time find myself picking up some jojos and chicken tenders for a cheap, speedy lunch.

This below street level grocery store is one of the few grocery stores outside the Market, so if you're looking for something generic you're probably safe here. They are basically a small Safeway, but they manage to pack quite a bit into this small space. The downside is this location is often overrun with foot traffic because of the proximity to so many other popular destinations. With a mixture of prepackaged deli type foods and your average American grocery chain wares, they are not a place I would look for healthier foods, but if you just have to grab a mozzarella stick, apple, or generic veggie wrap, you may be fine here. Personally, this is my store when I know others will disappoint me, but I don't feel like walking anywhere else. At least you know what you're getting.

Probably the best idea in grocery stores to enter the marketplace, ever. I enjoy shopping at IGA because everyone is friendly and the prices are affordable. I hope IGA will always be in the neighborhood.

OMG I swear the security guard was profiling me as a shoplifter and followed me around! I'm not a shoplifter! I have the highest integrity and do not steal. It's not that I was profiled that bothers me it's that the establishment thinks ALL people are there to steal!!!!! Fix the problem don't treat honest people as though they are thieves!!!i hate being treated like this, another reason to avoid Downtown Seattle and not support businesses. Kudos Amazon they get my purchases
