Check your prescription refills - gave me the wrong drug and because they close early, I was stuck until the next day.

So the staff are all nice but Rite Aid is doing another bankruptcy or something… not trying to be mean but it stinks the same way fry’s electronics did before it collapsed, already dead isles barely any product steered to make it look like more is there. Other than it’s Westwood Village and it’s next to the bus stop.

I have had a good experience using this pharmacy - even as the employees there have had to deal with the uncertainties of the bankruptcy.

I have been going to this pharmacy for over a year now and I’ve never had any major issues with them. There are times where there’s not enough staff but that hasn’t happened a ton times when I’ve gone in. I appreciate the staff here and their friendliness! It’s not the fanciest pharmacy but the staff make it worth coming in! :)

My medicine was available almost immediately in less than 1 hour right after the prescription was sent there by my doctor. There were many staffs at the location, the picking up was super fast and pleasant

The behavior of the pharmacy team at this location is unconscionable. I am disabled and have been regularly discriminated against at this location.
They have illegally withheld my medication for days on end, despite numerous authorization calls (at their request) from my doctor’s office and all scripts being within the WA State timeline to fill. This has resulted in emergency room admissions that could have otherwise been completely avoided.
They have publicly humiliated my partner and me, as well as other patrons who had requests as simple as needing to use the restroom (which they denied while the key was sitting on the counter). They are demeaning, rude, careless, and seem to be without any compassion for their patients. This includes loudly discussing and joking about protected HIPAA information from directly behind the counter.
I hope that someone holds this team accountable before it costs someone their life. Avoid coming here at all costs if you can.

Worst pharmacy ever. Discriminates against disabled people.
At least one of the pharmacists is a narcissist who refuses to fill a prescription just because it's 45 minutes before they close, and they don't want to count any more pills for the day (even though they told me it would be filled hours ago and the prescription was due several days before). They don't answer the phone, which forced us to come up there and isn't easy to do. If you try to question them, they will demean and dismiss you, even walk away while you're talking. No empathy. They literally walk around the corner, behind the shelf, and make fun of the patients at the window with each other. This staff is a group of people who lack compassion in a very disgusting way.
We've looked into it and will be filing a complaint with the ADA association and the pharmacy commission, as it is illegal to refuse to fill a valid prescription without reason.
It is one thing to not have a medication. It is another thing to treat people who are already having an issue in a reprehensible way. I have never been so disgusted with any health "professionals" behavior. I hope they all get the therapy they need eventually to figure out why they feel the need to demean people the way they do.

Even though it's not in the safest area, this is still a convenient and friendly location. The last time I visited, the store was clean and well stocked, and the employees were helpful and polite.

The employee tried charging my bf for a homeless guys candy at the pharmacy without my bfs consent and then tried to get a credit card for a refund when my bf paid with cash. Happened last night 3/26 at around 830

Well, it was a mistake to give this pharmacy another chance. This was the last time. I dropped off a prescription a week ago. It was back-ordered. No updates for a week. I call and I'm told to call other pharmacies AGAIN. So I did. Walgreens has the drug in stock, will call to get the prescription transferred for me, and will call me when it's ready. They were also actually pleasant on the phone, unlike the people here. Maybe you should update people when something remains on back-order. (For the record, they used to. I don't know when they stopped.) It took me five minutes to call the other pharmacy and now I'll get my medicine that I need. So I guess I'll just keep going there from now on. Rite-Aid is the worst and doesn't care at all. Maybe don't take a public-facing job if you can't even pretend to care. Not offering another other options, information, or anything else is just more rude. "It's back-ordered, try calling other pharmacies." Okay. Is there any way of determining when it's not going to be back-ordered? I don't know how your supply-chain works. And I don't necessarily NEED to know, but I might be more understanding if I had a touch of insight. Hell, can I call your supplier and ask them what their restock ETA is? Did you even bother? I've worked in a lot of global supply-chain systems, and I don't feel like you really did everything you could have. And if you did, you certainly didn't give me any indication. Maybe update people before the end of business week so they can call their doctors if they won't be able to get their medicine and need to find alternatives or make other plans. For shame Rite-Aid. You've once again shown your callous disregard for people. Beyond this, Rite-Aid as a whole is just a joke. Their website is a mess and you can't generally successfully submit a refill request on it. (I had to do it by phone.) When I submitted this prescription (and previous ones) they sent the notification to me and my wife separately, which isn't in my notification preferences, and has not ever been. While I don't really need to hide anything from her, I feel like this is a violation of my privacy. You really need to fix your systems.

If I could rate this pharmacy zero stars I would. They don't pick up their phone. On multiple occasions I've tried to submit a refill using their automated phone system and every time I go to pick it up, they say they never got the refill request. And you can't call to check, because they won't pick up their phone! Terrible service.

Only choose riteaid pharmacy if you have no other options. The connection between their website and their pharmacy is unreliable and you will not be able to find/manage your prescriptions with any confidence.

Dropped off a prescription to be filled at 12:15, was told to come back at 2 for pickup. Prescription was not ready when I arrived back at 2 because they didn't write down my birthdate. That's a frustrating oversight, but not the reason for the 1 star review. When the employee learned of the mistake, I was told to come back later, which now meant a third trip back to the pharmacy. The prescription was for an eye ointment. A company which recognizes they made the mistake and not the customer, puts the eye ointment in a bag and issues the prescription right there while the customer waits. The decision made in this instance was completely about what was convenient for Rite Aid and not at all about what was best for me.
