Rogers Playground is a neighborhood park that offers a variety of amenities for visitors. The playground is described as "nice" and "small but hit the highlights," catering to children's play needs. The park also features a tennis court, picnic area with limited seating, and functional, clean restrooms. While the park is generally well-received, some concerns have been raised. Some visitors have noted issues with dog waste not being properly cleaned up, and there have been reports of inconsiderate behavior from users of remote-controlled vehicles. Additionally, the park's dog-friendliness has been a point of discussion, with some visitors expressing a desire for the park to be more accommodating to dogs. Overall, Rogers Playground seems to be a decent, if basic, community space that provides recreational opportunities for local residents. While it may not be the most elaborate or feature-rich park, it appears to serve its purpose as a neighborhood gathering spot.
We play kickball at Rogers and it’s not too bad, except that a lot of people bring their dogs there. With that being said, just be mindful of holes and poop that didn’t get picked up. Otherwise there’s a nice playground, trash cans, and a few picnic tables.
