As a beginner, I enjoy the Foundation class with Susan. The atmosphere is fun, supportive, and non-judgmental. Participants span decades in their ages and are friendly.

Erging since 10/21 and ~1.5 million meters into my RH journey. I do not like exercising and if left to my own devices, it will get blown off without a second thought. I can keep an appointment though and that's where my intro to group fitness started. The RH staff are really wonderful for a number of different reasons that all share the common characteristic of wanting the crew to meet their goals, make progress, and have fun. I'm doing all those things as I approach 250 classes.Your fellow rowers will be all ages, sizes, and abilities and when you see a full class all in swing (all hitting catch & finish in unison), it feels good and is motivating in an unexpected way.My favorite things are: hitting my meter goal for class, celebrating a milestone for someone in the class (I'm primal scream loud), and making new friends with the dogs that sometimes show up.Come in and get addicted to munching meters!!

If you need a sign to just start, this is your sign! In high school and college, I feel like I stayed pretty active on a regular basis but once the pandemic hit, it made it really hard to get back into the swing of things. I had been doing at-home routines but fall off and on and can never stay consistent. Untilllllll.. Row House on Instagram dm'd my foodie page (@eatingfordaiz if you want more local food spots!) and offered a free class. I said why not and booked a class. I took my first Foundations class with Susan, the instructor, and it was amazing! You show up 15-20 minutes early so your instructor can help you get set up and from the minute I got there, everyone was SO welcoming! I got a welcome sign, Susan was so excited to meet me (and the other first-timers) and it was honestly just such a great class to get the basis down. Susan's energy is so uplifting and encouraging-- I always feel so much better and stronger when I leave one of her classes. Also, being someone who still masks, I really appreciate that Susan does too. I took one more class after that and then signed up for a membership! I had always passed this location but was so intimidated with group fitness. Thank you, Row House, for kickstarting my fitness routine again. Note: they offer a free first class for everyone. I 100% recommend!

Absolutely love this place. The coachs and fellow rowers are so supportive. My favorite part is constantly being encourage to row for me, at whatever level I am capable of that day. It's a truly positive encouraging space.

Terrific, low-impact workout - my core has never been stronger! The staff genuinely cares about your experience and suggests modifications to make sure the classes work for everyone. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

A low-impact cardio workout that's as challenging as you want it to be, so it works for every shape and fitness level. The coaches are so positive and supportive, and they switch up the routine just often enough to keep it fresh.

My first time taking a class was in June 2022. I tried a few more classes, and I was hooked. The staff/coaches are extremely friendly, welcoming and make you feel super comfortable. They interact with all the members and wonderful people that come in everyday. Feels like I have been going there since they opened. I would say it is 100% my happy place. I would recommend taking the foundation class with Susan. She knows what she's talking about. Super helpful before all the other amazing classes. Strength is definitely my tough class, but the more you get into them the better you get. If you are feeling hesitant about trying it, don't. It's a great fit for me, and I believe it would be for others too. I am not so much into gyms so this form of exercise is amazing. It's a full body workout and I can 100% say I feel great starting my mornings off at Row House. Sets the bar for the rest of my day?

I’ve been attending classes at the Row House for over six months now and I absolutely love it! The coaches all have their own distinct style, but are equally engaging, encouraging, and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and very well-maintained, and the members are considerate and respectful. Plus, the community is filled with folks of all ages, ability, size, etc. - everyone is welcome. Whether you’ve rowed for years or you’re brand new to the erg, you’ll have a seat at the Row House table!

Adding rowing to my exercise regimen has been a net positive. I got tired of slacking off on my running and decided to try Row House for a low-impact full body workout. I couldn't be happier with the supportive environment, different classes set to motivating music, and time slots that fit into my schedule. The coaches are friendly and fun and you leave feeling good about yourself after a good sweat - what's not to like?

I've been attending classes here for about a year. Susan is by far my favorite coach. She is super kind and motivating and I would highly recommend her for beginners in particular. Come join the Wednesday night foundation fellowship! I've also done classes with Ali and Katya. They can really get you sweating! Can't say that I've ever had a bad class. Don't let the waitlist scare you off. There seems to always be last minute openings.
