If I could leave 10 stars I would! This place is the real deal with authentic wool hand spun natural dyed rugs. I don’t normally leave reviews but the folks running it were knowledgeable and kind, the inventory was the best in town, and they’re having a wild clearance sale right now. Beyond worth the price. If you’re looking for a place to get beautiful craftsman style rugs that will last generations, Run don’t walk!

Shopping here was delightful! The customer service was above and beyond. The owner helped us tremendously in picking out the right rug for our space, and we learned about the origins and history of the rugs as well. It's so nice to see the quality of these rugs in person compared to what is sold in big box stores. There were lots of beautiful styles and colors, and they're even more colorful in person than in photos. We're so happy we found a great fit for our living room!

in a world inundated with fast interior fashion and mass manufactured printed rugs, it was such a treat to finally invest in a family heirloom quality handmade rug. Al was patient with us as we weighed our different options, going back and forth multiple times. we went in with a budget and Al worked with us so that we could stay within it and walk away with the rug of our dreams! seattle is so lucky to still have gems like this store around.

I recently moved into a new house in Wallingford and found the perfect rugs at Rugs of the World. We got a stunning 9x12 red living room rug with a beautiful pattern, a 3x12 green hallway runner that matches our paint, and a charming small bedroom rug with a lovely woven illustration. Al was super helpful and friendly, and guided us through the process, assisting in selecting designs from Kashgar and Central Asia. Al also worked with us on a fair price for the three rugs, was expensive but these seem like really high quality rugs and have held up great for the last few months, even with our cat!

Al also collaborated with us on a reasonable price for the trio of rugs. While a bit on the pricier side, the rugs' remarkable quality has proven itself over the past few months, even with the company of our cat!
