There is always a long line. The phone wont be answered. They are understaffed. The Safeway will be torn down ti yield a larger development so they stopped investing/keeping up and it shows.

With racism mental illness crime illegal immigrants roaming our city it's still nice to see Safeway hasn't closed their doors. Sure this Safeway hires folks you'd see in the hood. And you know if you need to shop you'll shop in a used clothing store in the heart of the Getto slums to get what you need. I feel drained when I get home from my Safeway journey. Plus the looks of hate you get while shopping through the store. Well I gave 5 stars because I love Safeway it's been home always there. Thank you for not leaving.

The staff is very nice, but I’ve never waited longer at a pharmacy…on a regular basis. It’s too bad corporate won’t fund them to be staffed properly. At the end of the day, it’s a really poor customer experience and I’ll be going elsewhere.

Another customer and I got yelled at by the short black female pharmacist to leave, and that she wasn’t going to help us with our prescriptions even though we had been in line for like 25 minuets. I understand that they close at 5, but the way she talked to us was rude. I did get there 25 minutes before close, but if there was 2 people after their “cut off”, I don’t see why they wouldn’t help us. Besides that, they’re EXTREMELY slow at getting people checked out, and they don’t care about their job, nor their customers. Do better.

They never answer the phone even when they’re at the beginning of opening for the day, and rude when you go in person about picking up prescriptions. Whoever is hiring there needs to find new people.

Please, Safeway hire more people. I called multiple times to fill a prescription and the phone was never answered. When I called customer service they said it was because they're under staffed. When I'm sick I'd really like to not go in to the pharmacy to fill a prescription and wait for however long for it to be ready and risk getting other people sick while I'm waiting there :/

This pharmacy is disorganized, and hours are not as posted online. There are a couple Walgreen’s nearby that you’re better off going to.

I had a bad reaction to a medication I've been taking since I was 7 I called to let them know and I spoke to the rudest most dismissive woman I have ever spoken to. Anyway if you can avoid this wretched pharmacy and fill somewhere else, save yourself the aggravation and fill there. If I could give a quarter star I would.

Switching pharmacies after going here for 8 years.A bug in their system has messed up my auto refills for the last 6 months and their pharmacists are either too busy or don’t care enough to help fix it. I’m forced to wait 30 minutes for them to fill it every time I go in, despite the Safeway Pharmacy app saying it’s ready.I heard a different excuse from a different pharmacist each time. Even heard that it was my insurance’s fault or that I had been given a 3 months supply the month before. Different stories, none of them true, same wastes of my and the pharmacists’ time.Do yourself a favor and use a better run pharmacy.

This pharmacy is pathetic. They are chronically understaffed, resulting in painfully slow lines, med errors, and rudeness from overextended employees. Sometimes they just don’t even run my insurance at all, and the pharmacist with the beard is kind of mean.
