Unfortunately the other reviews are in fact true re: answering phones. You can’t reach anyone on the phone. They should list this on their website that they don't monitor the phones. I've had to make several trips to the pharmacy to be able to get answers to my questions, and check on my prescriptions. And even when I do request a refill to a prescription online, when I go there a day or two later, they ask if I want the prescription refilled when I already asked for it to be refilled online. So, I wait for it in my car every time. These issues, along with the pharmacy being 20 minutes away so it isn't convenient anymore, is why I'll be switching my pharmacy.

They genuinely just never answer the phone. I called every 2 hours for a week and never once got an answer. Many prescriptions can't be done via the app. I'll be looking for another pharmacy because physically going there TWICE any time I need a refill just isn't realistic.When I asked the pharmacist about it, they just straight up said they don't answer the phones.Baffling.

It is medical negligence to not answer the phone. Seriously. How are people meant to get in touch with a pharmacist if they have questions about medication?If the pharmacy plans to neither answer the phone, return or even allow messages, its message should be: “Please phone 911 for medication concerns as this pharmacy will not, under any circumstances, answer nor return calls nor even allow messages to be left.”

I feel really bad for the pharmacy staff at this safeway because it is so unorganized and understaffed. This low rating is not directed at any individuals but the pharmacy as a whole. No one ever answers the phone making it impossible to check for inventory before sending prescriptions to this location. When I asked for problem-solving suggestions on ways to check inventory before sending a script or physically coming to the store, I was told by a pharmacy staff member to go to another pharmacy first…If you have other options, my suggestion would be to avoid this pharmacy.

Is there some reason they can’t answer the phone? Or return messages? I’ve called for four days now at varied times of day to try to get scripts ready and report an error. Four days to not answer the phone is freaking ridiculous almost as ridiculous as the hour I’m going to have to spend to go in person because the automated system can’t link me and the personal one won’t pick up the freaking phone.

This pharmacy is basically unusable. They never answer the phone or call back when VMs are left. More often than not have to drive to the pharmacy to get answers to simple questions.

the people at this pharmacy are always helpful and kind. They respect the fact that my preferred name isn't my legal name. They really are great!

Been using this Safeway while waiting for my new insurance to start bc it was the cheapest option but they literally NEVER answer the phone or call back for messages, making it very difficult to fill prescriptions. Have gone without multiple times just until I could physically go there and ask for a refill(and then of course wait for it to be refilled as they didn't answer calls to request it ahead of time).Now that new insurance is in effect I'll be picking up from CVS(who I'm not a fan of but at least they'll respond to me and fill my need Rxs in a timely manner)

I’ve been going here for several months and every person I’ve worked with has been really helpful, understanding, and kind. They are honest about the pricing as well. I recommend this pharmacy over many of the other ones in the area.

I haven't really had any bad experiences with this pharmacy up until the last 2 weeks. I have called and left multiple messages over the last 2 weeks meeting a prescription refill that I don't have the number for. I've tried calling in the morning, afternoon, not during their designated lunch, and evening. No one ever answers the phone. I've left two messages and no one has returned my call. I've been without my prescription for 2 weeks and it's really hard for me to find the time to get in there during normal hours.

They never answer the phone. I need a prescription renewal request to go to my doctor for a medication but I'm not able to do this through the Safeway App because it's a controlled medication. I have been trying for 4 days at different times of the day to get through to them via phone with no luck. I'm so tired of it that I'm thinking of switching to CVS who is further away, but they answer their phone!

I’m very angry Roxanne who is very rude when I asked her to put paper and plastic she took my food out the bag and threw it made it shake like she didn’t like her job but to the next costumer she super nice she needs to be talked to or removed from the schedule if I’m not the only person who deals with her if this continues I will never come back to this store again
