I paid $2.00 for a chicken thigh it was fatty and hot but no real flavor. I wish I had taken a picture. You know good and well a Poc isn't baking that chicken. Just awful. I am sorry but do better my stomach hurts.

One incremental star for being somewhat convenient in terms of distance. Otherwise, this store kinda sucks. Store-brand stuff is generally priced well. Everything else, other stores (Met Market, QFC) are pretty price competitive. Out of stocks and poor quality in produce frequently. Beer selection is pretty lame. Self-checkout: generally half of the machines are offline at a time (machine's screwed up, out of paper, etc.) and other customers suck at queueing so I have to tell olds to not cut in line.

Chain store, they don't care about your health, this conglomerates only cares about money ...shop organic and/or local, for yourself and the earth.

All of the regular employees here are stellar, however the night manager Derek makes me want to stop shopping here. He is overbearing, rude, and I’ve told him to his face more than once that he needs to treat his coworkers with more respect after witnessing the way he treats them. He’s yelled at more than one of my neighbors for things like coming into the store 15 min before close, or standing too close to some inventory boxes, he snapped at his employee who was making a genuine connection with me. I’ve also witnessed him chasing people off the property shrieking like a madman. He has obviously let the managerial position go to his head and uses it to act like a middle school bully. Every time I’ve confronted him about the way he speaks to both employees and customers, he claims it’s a “joke” to try and skirt responsibility and doesn’t do anything to change his behavior. Safeway needs to take him out back and set him out to pasture.

Great place for a quick bite , coffee or sparkling ice beverage. Great selection of products for skincare and hair. Great section for bakers and chefs .

Had coffee at the Safeway Starbucks, less busy with places to sit and people watch. New personnel that were quick to learn and brew a good drink. They were fast and efficient.

Tara is an absolute awesome employee. Tara always seems to have a smile and anytime I see Tara , Tara will ask me is I found everything ok if I was in store shopping which is great customer service and when delivering to my cat for pick up prop and easy

I have visited this store a couple of times, the staff is usually great. My last visit there, I used the self check out. After I finished, I realized that I forgot to buy an item. So I grabbed the bags of fruits and veggies and walked back to an isle. They didn’t have it what I was looking for. As I was walking out, an employee yelled about a couple of hundreds yards away from me, “ aren’t you going to pay for that?!” ?♀️ After I told her that I had already made my purchase and I have the receipt, she just looked at me dismissively, did not apologize, and just went back to stocking the cooler. I understand the current climate with shoplifting, but I would suggest finding a more appropriate way of asking your patrons for proof of purchase.
