I might have given them more stars but the girl that works at the register in the pharmacy needs to learn how to talk to people. Don't speak to people like you're giving them orders very disrespectful. Probably going to have my prescriptions transferred tired of their attitude

Tukwila Safeway has been going down hill for years! I’ve lived in same home and been shopping here for nearly 50 years. The current manager, being “in charge” provides the worst customer service I have ever seen!
During my latest visit, early Sat morning (day before Father’s Day) store packed, and ONE
(1) cashier. With 3 customers ahead of me and that poor cashier obviously stressed as she was working as fast as she could, I stepped up a bit and asked “can you please call for a second cashier”. She said “there is no one else”. When it was my turn, I chatted with her a bit to find out what the heck was going on. This entire time, another employee (April) stood in the isle, talking and laughing with another coworker. I also asked her if someone could come help out..so quick to apologize (I’m sorry but “no” no one else….She stepped up and said to my cashier “named the person, will be here at 1030am. I believe that was about 40 min away! My wonderful cashier who by the way, is so hard working and kind every time she rings me up, said there was no relief for her to run to the restroom. How can this be? Disgusting !
I will tell you how!!! Before my groceries were all rung up, the manager was was suddenly standing at the back of the register next to us, looking at his cell phone. As I openly expressed my annoyance as all customer eyes and ears were listening, that
“Customer service sucks here” He actually kept looking at his phone and started smiling!! I said “stop smiling, this is not funny and it’s your job to make sure “your customers are taken care of. I even said “your cashier can’t even run to the restroom “
This great manager asked “why, is something wrong with the restroom “.WELL, There ya go!!
Clueless and could care less about anyone!
No wonder there is such a high turn over in cashiers! I’d leave too if I had to work for this
manager.

Sick of seeing digital coupons - Safeway used to reliably have ok prices for everyone with a Safeway card, but now resorts to trickery to show you $1.99/lb for grapes and then it costs double when you get to the front.

The Light in parking lot were all strobing in sync like it was a disco tech. Difficult conditions to drive or park in. Coupons advertised in the paper did not work even though were club card members and we were overcharged.

Can’t even begin to relate how ridiculous this Safeway is. Consumers beware. This location will not accept your customer information ( rewards ) card as proof of purchase. They for what ever reason they require the physical receipt as proof although they can clearly look up your information and can see the receipt. Management really needs to look at how they treat customers and adjust processes accordingly. This particular visit was to correct a charge and make it right. (Based on the current sale) the best this location could do was let me know that again they would not accept the information provided to them by their App. But somehow the physical receipt would without question work. Borderline stupidity. Who ever made the decision to make things less convenient for customers who take advantage of store programs, needs to rethink if they are the correct person for the position they hold. Will not be doing my shopping with this location or any other for that matter.

I went to this Safeway about 45 minutes before it closed and ended up with two or three bags worth of groceries, all bargains. The store itself was clean and one of the employees swept the floor many times people were friendly on the manager came over to fix something over ring or something that didn't ring up she was really friendly and when I walked out the door she was there you know letting people know they were closing but she let them it was almost time to lock the doors, but she left them in the shop. As l left she apologized for being frazzled and I said she wasn't and I'd definitely shop there again

Saw negative reviews on the pharmacy but had no problems until I started regularly having to get meds. It's been almost a week now since I've had meds I am suppose to take everyday. First there was a breach in their computers. Then partially on my side of things my insurance was terminated for couple days . My insurance has been current for couple days now and customer service was so lame about just simply looking up to see if it had updated in computer yet. I have two meds and all she kept saying is the CO pay is $14 for one and the second one they are still calling on. I asked what's that mean still calling on? She just kept saying we still calling on . She was lame not even try to help with my questions. I asked my insurance doesn't fully cover these meds now? She said no CO pay is $14. Well thanks for taking time to explain why my insurance all sudden doesn't pay for entire script or if that is the problem with why I'm not getting my most important medication? Not too mention there is absolutely 0 discretion from none of the pharmacy workers there. Place is trash. I've lived here all my life been coming to this Safeway. It's sad that pharmacy is so trash.
