Seattle Center is a vibrant and active gathering place in the heart of the city, built around the International Fountain and the site of the 1962 World’s Fair. Covering 74 acres, it hosts more than 30 cultural, educational, sports, and entertainment organizations, offering thousands of events each year that attract over 12 million visitors. The area is known for its many attractions, including the Space Needle, Glass Gardens, and the Science Center, although the latter is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Visitors enjoy walking around the campus, watching buskers perform, and relaxing in the Armory building with snacks. The Space Needle offers spectacular views of Seattle from its glass elevator, with discounts available for residents. However, tickets for the elevator can sell out quickly, and parking options include paid valet, which can be expensive. The International Fountain is a highlight, especially when operational, and the Climate Pledge Arena adds to the lively atmosphere. Overall, Seattle Center is a busy, fun place with plenty to see and do, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors to enjoy the city’s active lifestyle and cultural offerings.
Lots to see and do here! We did a scavenger hunt by a company and enjoyed exploring 12 miles of the city, including this area. It's an easy walk to other places but you can also take the Monorail.

Really liked the environment and it was a great bite before the kraken game.

Everything I expected it to be! What an awesome attraction! Helpful staff, great gift shop, amazing views. Everything was clean, even the bathrooms. Attention to detail was great. Must do at least once!
