“Went to a kiddo bday party here with our daughter and it was awesome. The team here is super friendly and attentive to the kiddos. I’ve been working in education / with kids for 20 years and I was super impressed. I don’t feel like a lot of places deliver this level of positivity and open, welcoming energy. We chatted with the main teachers Gwen and Christiano, and the owner Lauren, who were all super friendly. We went to a different Little Gym last year and did not like it at all, but this was a completely different and way better experience. Looking forward to coming back!”
“I love the beautiful artistic flair reflected in the cultural artifacts and contemporary pieces. Such a rich culture and history deserves protection, appreciation and respect.”
“Lots to see and do here! We did a scavenger hunt by a company and enjoyed exploring 12 miles of the city, including this area. It's an easy walk to other places but you can also take the Monorail.”
“Block 41 is a fantastic venue for a variety of gatherings. Perfect for 200+ nonprofit event. Indoor/ outdoor space, great AV support, kitchen for caterers, copious floor space. Management team is so easy to work with. We will come back here every year!”
“Wonderful place for community, dance, events, and classes. They even have free snacks after ecstatic dance on Tuesday & Thursday. Very easy to drop in and just be in your own experience or meet people and dance if you feel up to that. No pressure like partner dance spaces. Nice floor. Barefoot and no alcohol makes it such a healthy experience. Adnan & Noe and others also host a monthly Bloom Dance that is social and super fun and includes food. Highly recommend.”

“We love the Little Gym! The coaches are wonderful and the classes are well structured. Our 3yo really enjoys class and has developed balance and listening skills while attending Funny Bugs. We also love their monthly parent's survival night!”
“We recently hosted our 10th Anniversary Party at The Stables, and it was incredible. Numerous guests commented on how it was a perfect venue. There was space for food, dancing, and chatting. The food was delicious. The Stables was also able to honor all of our requests so that we could tailor the event to be just what we wanted it to be. Barbie was extraordinary in communication and vision. The event was extra special, and it was dependent on the Stables.”
“Live 2 blocks from this place never seen the inside it was built by the guy who brewed cheap Schaefer beer my relatives helped pay for this pile through massive consumption of you guessed it Schaefer Beer”
“Attended the Opera Carmen tonight. It was amazing. McCaw Hall/Seattle Opera House is a modern, elegant designed building. The lobby is large and accommodating. There was an abundance of ushers and helpful, cheerful staff guiding and answering questions.
The theatre is spacious, with a variety of seating levels and boxes, but wherever you sit feels close to the stage. The acoustics are fantastic and made the whole experience rich and meaningful.
Will definitely return and recommend to others.”
“A big thank you to Natalia and Hannah at Thinkspace for helping us secure a great conference room for our podcast recording.
They were responsive, professional, and made the entire process easy. The space was perfect for what we needed. Fantastic views.
We highly recommend Thinkspace.”
“Don’t get bored by the name.. when you come here you will get free wine tasting and get exactly what you get at an outlet aka cheaper wholesale prices. The owner is very kind and willing to share his knowledge.”
“Really enjoyed my visit to the Seattle Art Museum – the range of exhibits they have right now is impressive. Farm to Table was fascinating, exploring how Impressionists depicted food and identity in ways I hadn’t thought about before, and the ash-glazed ceramics from Korea and Japan were absolutely gorgeous. Also caught Diego Cibelli’s work and the Cosmic Beings exhibit showcasing Mesoamerican and Andean art, which had some incredible pieces. Building itself is beautiful and right next to Pike Place, so super easy to hit both in one day.”

“Hotel is great, king room is big and clean, cleaning service is great. Location is closeby to the convention center, and I recommend waling to the bay area, beautiful walk.
Negative part is that the hotel doesn't have any package storage for the guests. They use fedex inhouse office that charges around 10$+ per package even if they stored it for 1 hour..
When I asked the lobby about it they didn't mention the cost of holding the packages.”
“A private club with a spectacular location on Shilshole Bay! Great mix of people. Amazing line-up of charitable beneficiaries, a lot of people excited to raise money for awesome causes.”
“We had the most incredible experience at Sole Repair Shop for our wedding reception! From the very start of planning through the big day itself, the staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect.
The food and drinks were fantastic, and every single person we interacted with was kind, helpful, and attentive. My wife and I felt so well taken care of throughout the entire process — it truly made our day stress-free and special.
We loved every minute of our experience at Sole Repair Shop and would recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Thank you for making our reception unforgettable!”

“Had lunch in the marine room. The chairs were super comfy, the view pretty, and my French dip was the best I ever had (full disclaimer: I’ve never had French dip before, but if it’s always this good I’ll be having it regularly).”
“Who said Seattle lacks culture? Maybe they’re right, but they’d be wrong about white center. Blown away but the colorful art and exuberant energy that any patron would feel as soon as they enter this beautiful space”
“cool little venue, street parking was tight in the area but I was able to find a spot only a couple blocks away which wasn't bad and an easy walk.
They did offer drinks, not sure about food but there is a restaurant across the street so thats not a big deal.”
“Axis Pioneer Square is one of the best venues in the Seattle area! I have had the pleasure of shooting multiple weddings here and always love seeing it transform with each couples vision. It's truly a memorable spot that feels both upscale and fun for everyone attending!”
“Great Event center, nice facility and layout. There are stairs but once there it's a great setup. 4/23/25 - is update attended another function, I really like the location and layout for events.”
“we were here for their carnevolar halloween event and all the performances were phenomenal, with the exception of any comedy bits, which needed work. i was amazed with every performance. the photobooth and bar seemed like an afterthought, but it is fine, given everybody's here for the trapezing. will return to support future events.”

“We got married aboard the MV Skansonia on July 31, and we can't say enough good things about Landmark Event Co. Just five weeks before our wedding, the boat took on water, and the way this team handled it was nothing short of incredible. From start to finish, Trevor and Emilie were wonderful: communicative, honest, and genuinely fighting for us the entire time. They kept us updated at every step, lined up backup options so we were never left scrambling, and ultimately delivered the wedding we had dreamed of, on the venue we fell in love with.
The venue itself is amazing and perfect. There's nothing like being on the water on Lake Union. The setting is intimate and magical, the bar is huge, and the dance floor is great. Our guests are still raving about it.
Having the catering, flowers, and linens all through them made everything so easy. One team, one point of contact, and every detail handled beautifully. We also highly recommend using them as your day of coordinator. It kept everything seamless and let us actually enjoy our wedding day.
If you're considering this venue or this team, don't hesitate. They earned every one of these five stars and then some.”
“What a fantastic venue! It is really a wonderful size. It's big enough for a great party, but doesn't feel overwhelmingly huge. I love the rich wood look and classic styling. And the moveable tables and walls inside really are smartly made so you can adjust the day to whatever you really need! I highly recommend it!”
“Staff is awesome and welcoming! The rooms represent the trailblazers before us and I just love it. There's always an energy to it and you get to meet amazing people all the while trying out new foods and learning about different cultures. I feel safe and welcomed here. ”
“I love it! I try to spread the word to get “more young people” at the Eagles but I’m over 40 so maybe I don’t count as a “young” person 😂 my friends and I love the pull tabs, the cheap drinks and meeting other members. It’s fantastic! Hopefully someday soon I can get involved with some volunteer opportunities as that’s why I initially joined . Very happy to be an Eagles member !”
“Great neighborhood park for kids of ages. Picnic tables, functioning toilets and water fountain, swings, a slide, play areas, sandpit, several communal toys, 2 baseball diamonds and flat green space.”

“We had our wedding at the World Trade Center and we could not be more pleased with our experience!! From day 1, the first person I interacted with, Linda Kress, treated me with a level of kindness and investment that was unparalleled when compared to the experiences that we had during our 13 other venue tours. Linda is amazing at her job and also simply an amazing person. She very quickly felt like a friend and went out of her way to provide us with so much additional wedding guidance based on her previous years of experience as a wedding planner. As the wedding got closer, we transitioned to working more closely with Camila Ormachea, who was also absolutely amazing and more helpful than we could have imagined. She coordinated all details with ease, was very responsive and accommodating, and was clearly invested in how our wedding was going to turn out. Forever thankful for both Linda and Camila!!
We truly feel like we found a hidden gem in a sea of other beautiful but terrifyingly expensive venues. The actual venue fee is beyond reasonable - the greatest portion of the cost (which is still very reasonable) to hold your wedding here is in the food & beverage but let me tell you, it SHOWS. The food was unbelievably high quality and I believe is the thing that stood out to our guests the most, so many of them are still raving about it. That also includes the service, which was top-tier. Everyone working was very detail-oriented and did an incredible job of making sure the night ran smoothly from handing out champagne as guest arrived and flipping the ceremony space in record time, to a seamless plated dinner experience and beyond. I honestly felt so fancy during our wedding as a result of the service and the food. The room itself is also absolutely stunning and made for such a beautiful backdrop of our ceremony. The pics taken in the World Trade Center room itself turned out amazing, as well as all the pics that we took across the street on top of the attached Bell Harbor Conference Center. If you are looking for a wedding venue, I HIGHLY recommend that you choose the World Trade Center Seattle. I didn’t have to worry or think about a thing day-of and the venue and service absolutely surpassed any expectations I had!”
“We had such a wonderful experience at this winery. Julie was working and pouring for us, and she was an absolute standout. Being in the wine industry ourselves, we really appreciated her knowledge, her care, and the time she took with us as well as with every other guest who walked in. It’s rare to find someone who makes the tasting feel both personal and professional. This place is a special find, and we will definitely be back.”
“I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Linda and Camila for their incredible patience, hard work, professionalism, and dedication throughout the planning and execution of my event.
From the very beginning, you both went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled with care, making what could have been a stressful process feel seamless and enjoyable. Your guidance, flexibility, and commitment allowed me to truly enjoy the experience and celebrate without worry.
Thank you for listening to my ideas, embracing my vision, and helping bring it to life in ways that exceeded every expectation. What I imagined became a reality because of your expertise, creativity, and tireless efforts behind the scenes.
Everything came together more beautifully than I could have ever imagined, and I am so grateful for the role you both played in making Chapter 40 such a memorable and meaningful celebration.
Your kindness, patience, and dedication did not go unnoticed, and I will always remember the care you put into making this event so special.
Thank you for making my vision a reality and for helping create memories that will last a lifetime.
With sincere appreciation and gratitude,
Devon J.”
“As a wedding photographer, I absolutely loved working at Georgetown Ballroom. It's one of the most unique wedding venues in Seattle and has so much character.
The exposed brick walls, colorful hanging lanterns, vintage details, and warm industrial atmosphere create an incredible backdrop for photos. The venue feels intimate and moody in the best way, especially during the ceremony and reception when the ambient lighting transforms the space.
One of my favorite features is the separate areas for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing, which helps the day flow naturally for both guests and vendors. The getting-ready suites are spacious, and the venue team was organized, kind, and easy to work with throughout the entire day.
Georgetown Ballroom is a fantastic option for couples looking for something different from a traditional hotel ballroom. If you love historic, industrial design, and a wedding that feels distinctly Seattle, this venue is definitely worth considering.
A couple of planning tips for future couples: parking in Georgetown can be limited, so consider encouraging guests to use Uber or other rideshare services. The venue's beautifully dark and moody atmosphere is part of what makes it so special, but it's important to choose photographers and videographers who are experienced working in low-light environments. The high ceilings and ambient lighting require thoughtful lighting techniques to capture the space at its best.”
