Sent me the wrong product. Had to contact multiple times for an exchange or refund, never heard a reply. Stuck with the wrong item with no refund. Terrible customer service, will never order from again.

Store is online orders only.
How is someone supposed to choose a fabric without being able to see and feel it in person??

Never open to walk in customers anymore. Very disappointing.

I ordered 3/4 yard of pretty expensive fabric. Kind of a careless job the way they cut it. It was uneven, obviously just hacked off a piece and mailed it to me. C'mon, act like you're grateful for my business.

Change your hours- you’re not “open” if a customer can’t enter your store. How can someone properly shop if they can’t explore items? If the issue is unwanted foot traffic coming in off Aurora, move.
RipStopbytheRoll is getting my business and they’re on the other side of the country. It’s a shame that you’ve put your very loyal PNW customers in this position.

LIFESAVER for my backpack!
I have a MEC daypack, but United Airlines gave me the option to check-in free. HOWEVER, when I got it back, I had a BROKEN plastic buckle! Unfortunately it was a special ITW Nexus 25mm Airloc Buckle and couldn't be replaced with some generic buckle from Ace Hardware. GAH!
I went to MEC to get a replacement, but it would've costed MINIMUM $20 SHIPPING to send a $2 buckle to the US!
Luckily, a Google search brought me to Seattle Fabrics! I actually called them and talked with a kind and understanding live person who checked the buckle and answered all my questions!
Not only that, but he also took the time to adjust the shipping price so that it would be exactly the amount required and not the standard shipping price!
I ended up also buying some glow-in-the-dark shock cord, too, since that's useful for camping!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Seattle Fabrics for saving my backpack!!!!

Looks like my experience isn't too unique. I ordered online from Seattle Fabrics. Took forever to ship, but they had some fabric that I can't find anywhere else, so I ordered from them a second time. The fabric that came was wrong. I received no response when I contacted them, so when I was prompted to leave a review, I left a poor one. After leaving the review, someone contacted me. It took a few phone calls, but I let them know the fabric was wrong; I had ordered this fabric before, and what I received was nothing like it. I was told that this fabric is just inconsistent from the manufacturer. What a weird thing for a company to just be comfortable with.
After some conversation I was told that I could return the fabric and they would issue a refund. I returned the fabric. A couple weeks later I called, since I hadn't received the refund. They confirmed that they had received the return, and that he (the person on the phone- same person I spoke to the first time) would put a note on the billing person's desk to issue that refund first thing in the morning.
Months have gone by and I have not received a refund. I have tried contacting Seattle Fabrics multiple times and have gotten no response. I now don't have the fabric, don't have the refund, and am out the cost of return shipping on top of it.

I showed up at Seattle fabrics yesterday because I knew they would have the kind of heavy duty zipper I was looking for. I had no idea they only take online orders and pick up now, so I was kind of freaked out. I needed the zipper to sew into a tote bag I planned on using for an out of state conference starting today. I rang their call button anyway and explained my situation. I had brought my tote bag so it was easy to explain the situation. The young man was willing to help and made several trips back and forth into the store to make sure I got what I needed. He was polite and very helpful. I was able to sew in the zipper last night and am so pleased with the results. I am so grateful for the service at SF. Every time I have been there (pre-Covid), I have found what I needed and been assisted with grace. This place is a Seattle institution and I hope it never goes away. It is an essential source for crafters and DIY folks.

I don't understand why they won't open for in-store. I want to look at stuff in person before I decide what to buy for my projects. I will go to a big box chain store instead. I've tried to buy things here a couple times and it's just too hard because I can't look at anything in person.

they are not actually open except for online. Seattle fabrics and google, get your act together and have it so Google shows the store shows as closed and people don't walk a mile and a half to get there.
