The Seattle Public Library - Central Library is a unique and captivating architectural marvel. The striking exterior gives way to a stunning interior, with muted yellow and red hallways, and elevators that transport visitors through the different floors. The library offers a great variety of books and resources, as well as a dedicated children's section with toys for toddlers. The staff is praised for their kindness and helpfulness. While the library's design is widely admired, the strong presence of homelessness inside is also acknowledged, highlighting the wider challenges the city faces. Overall, the Seattle Public Library - Central Library is a must-visit destination, offering an exceptional blend of architecture, resources, and community.
This is one of the best libraries ever. Both the kids and I really enjoy visiting. The building is stunning and the staff are very kind and patient. We're very lucky to have this in Seattle. It's well worth the visit just to see it.
