Staff has always been very knowledgeable and professional, explaining treatment and options. I feel comfortable knowing my pets are in the best care possible for trauma situations. They are caring and nurturing with animals and their pets. I like the location in downtown as it was much easier and faster to get to than my last visit many years ago in Kent and cherish that they are available in late night and early morning hours. They took very good care of my dogs on two occasions. One was cancer and we were able to continue care for an additional 6 months. Both dogs were taken good care of.

Took my cat in the other day due to and IBD flare. I had my suspicions it was that but I was way too worried for her to let her keep feeling so ill.. I took her in to Blue Pearl and they were very kind and they show how much they care about the pets that come in. They did a complete checkup and explained everything very clearly about what happened, why it happened and how to avoid it happening again. They gave her some medicine for any possible future issues. I’m very glad to say that my cat did a full recovery ! She’s back to her old self and I couldn’t be happier and thankful!

The vet at BluePearl, Dr. Alayna (may have her name slightly wrong), took care of our cat quickly when he had an emergency and solved the problem so easily. Our cat ingested a large amount of thin silicone material and we didn't know if there were chunks too large for him to pass. We called several vets in the area who quoted us up to $700 (or $10k for surgical removal), one of which said we couldn't induce vomiting unless it was within 20 minutes of ingestion. Brett at reception explained that we can try, but it was a 50/50 chance, and estimated around $400 for an examination and attempt to induce vomiting, so we chose BluePearl. At 8:30 PM on Monday night, the lobby was empty and there was about a 10 minute wait while the vet prepped to see our cat. Dr. Alayna ran us through the procedure before taking our cat to an examination room, so we knew exactly what was happening while we waited. It was just under an hour from the time he was taken in to the time of discharge. Fortunately, The doctor was able to induce vomiting and cleared all of the silicone out of his tummy. We paid just under $200 for the service and medicine, which was way more affordable than a $10k surgery. Our little fella was woozy when we got home, but ate dinner and slept okay, and he's back to his silly orange self today. Photo taken about 15 minutes after treatment. My partner and I are so grateful for for the help Brett and Dr. Alayna provided. They were both calm, understanding, and got the problem solved when many other vets in the area made it seem like surgery was the only option. If our cats ever have emergency issues in the future, we would definitely bring them back here.

Staff was so easy to talk with. Dr. Cotton did a complete physical to understand our dog’s health concerns. Gave us all the time we needed to ask questions and give us answers. Hope we don’t have to go back?..But we’re so glad they were there for us.

I felt heard, the diagnosis was reached without doing a lot of expensive tests, The appointment was never rushed. Great experience!! Didn’t have to wait long to be seen—however, this was not an emergency walk-in. We had an appointment. Dr. DeVilbiss (neurology) was kind an professional.

It's been months since the sudden passing of my beloved dog but I knew I would need to share a review of the care I received on May 9th. I was in distress and he was unconscious. I didn't know where to go and frantically called this location. They assured me they could help if I could just get there and they would meet me in the parking lot. From the moment they carried my limp dog in over their shoulder, to the moment I had to put him down, I was impressed with the service. If it gives you any assurance on their level of care and speed, they were able to resuscitate my 15 year old dog with CHF. The chances of resuscitation in a dog without heart conditions is very low so this was a testament to the team there. While I couldn't fathom putting my little guy down, the Vet helped me weigh pros and cons. I am very lucky to have come here. If you find yourself in a similar situation and you are able to spend what it takes to care for your best buddy as they pass over the rainbow bridge, consider Blue Pearl downtown.

We had a great visit :) The nightshift receptionist was helpful and reassuring over the phone, let me know wait times and delays possible with shift change happening right when I called. Facility was clean and easily accessible. Healthcare staff were calm and kind, helped me to really understand what was happening with my daughter, and made me feel comfortable with the take-home treatments. Two toe-beans up ?? from the patient, who is normally extremely anxious around strangers. She was surprisingly at ease with all of the lovely staff. She is back at home and starting to feel better, thank you so much for everything!!!

The staff was kind but they missed an ultimately fatal condition by not following up on inconsistencies with their initial diagnosis.

We took our 8 year Golden Retriever to the Seattle Blue Pearl ER after she collapsed following a normal day of activity. She was evaluated promptly and diagnosed with a pericardial effusion. The effusion was drained and she was monitored overnight. The ER veterinarian was competent and compassionate. She explained the possible diagnoses and answered our questions clearly and thoughtfully.

Terrible experience at blue pearl - they charge 10x the amount for basic medications and they don't tell you about that. On top of that, they can't even get the correct medications. They'll charge for consultations they never do; they'll say they will call and they won't. Emotional gaslighting and manipulation is their main skill. The front desk has no medical training so they will just give you whatever medication they have and you must administer at your own risk. The internal medicine team is often gone - they closed for over a week after prescribing medication that almost killed my cat. Shyanne, Dr. Garroway, Valerie, and Office Manager Kim - were condescending and inept. How this place is still open is a testament to the manipulation they put customers through. When I brought my concerns and complaints to Kim, she recommended we go somewhere else without any ideas of where else to go. Stay away from this place if you care for your pet. All they care about is the $$$. - They're owned by a giant corporation - they put profits before people and pets. Can't give less than one star unfortunately

I had the BEST experience with Dr. Garraway. My dog was severely sick, and we had been working with a different internist somewhere else for MONTHS, but just kept hitting dead ends with no improvement. Came to Dr. Garraway for a 2nd opinion and within 2 weeks she was fully recovered under his guidance. Miracle worker. I'm so grateful!!!

Their hours are a lie. Says they close at 7:00, showed up with a sick dog at 6:00 p.m., and they said we close in 1 hour so we can't see you. Didn't ask what was wrong, didn't inquire as to what I needed, simply said we closed in an hour so we can't see you. And if that's the case why don't you close at 6:00? If we are open for one more hour means we actually don't see anyone then you're not actually open.
