Secret Garden Bookshop is a much-loved, small bookstore in Ballard. It is a great little store with a vast selection covering sci-fi, romance, kids, and nature, alongside greeting cards, coloring books, and local-themed gifts. The entire shop feels well curated and organized, with a particularly cute children's section. While on the smaller side, they have good inventory and can order any book. The staff are super friendly and offer great service and recommendations. Customers can buy books online and pay when they pick them up. It is a thriving local resource and a favorite stop for many in the community.

This is a cute well-stocked bookstore with so many options for books and gifts. I got two books, a tote bag, and a locally made card. Just perfect. There’s also a book club, if you’re local (or order your book delivered if you don’t want to go out!)
