Courtney is the best!!! I came to my appointment completely exhausted and hating my hair and she gave me the most beautiful cut and color I’ve ever had! I felt revived and beautiful. My new regular spot!

Had a great experience getting my hair color done at Civility and Sway!
I have natural black hair and wanted to go overall much lighter. Been to two other places and had no luck getting the results I wanted even with reference photos. I was told it was impossible in one session or it would fry my hair.
Today I found out it was because it's a lengthy process that requires a lot of care. Courtney was very patient, professional and friendly and did this right in one session, and it did not damage my hair at all! The salon interior is very cozy as well. Would definitely recommend and I will be back!

I received a Brazilian blowout and a fabulous haircut from Courtney, and she was the best! I found her on Groupon, which was brilliant. I am so happy and excited about my new hairdo. It was difficult to find someone who could handle my Indian frizz, thickness, and curls, but Courtney was an expert. I wasn't stressed because I knew she knew what she was doing. Thank you, Courtney! Also, she didn't ask me to write a review. I'm doing this voluntarily because it really helps me when I'm deciding on a place. I was new to Seattle and had been searching for a good hairstylist for months. I'm so glad I found Courtney!

Wish I had seen these other reviews for people with Groupon's. I too was ghosted after making an apt, confirming said apt, and taking a half day from work to accommodate Courtney's availability! Called and texted with no response. This is the SECOND salon I've tried on Groupon that I've been cancelled on without notice. The first was Salon Lily in Queen Anne. She cancelled on me twice. She called me the first time, but not the second. I showed up to an empty studio, just like today!!! So incredibly disappointing.

Courtney saved my hair! I came in after trying to remove a semi-permanent hair color three times on my own with no luck. In one sitting she was able to give me a fantastic Platinum coloring as well as remove the pink that seem determined to stay. I would recommend her for all of your needs! Not only is she great at her job she was extremely courteous, entertaining, and professional.

I got full highlights, a Brazilian Blowout, and a haircutfrom Courtney and it all came out amazing. She even did a root smudge so the highlights would be easier to maintain, it looks great. Courtney is very kind, friendly and welcoming as well! Highly recommend this salon.Service: Haircut

Courtney is amazing! She uses quality products, really understands what look you're going for when you speak with her, and is also really great to talk to! Her location is a bit challenging to find and weekend appointments and evening appointments are hard to come by. Regardless, I will always book weeks in advance just to get in an appointment with her!

I don't think this business is still operational - so proceed with caution when booking. Courtney messaged me on the day of my appointment to reschedule, and then I never heard from her again. I texted, called and DM'd: nothing. Her Instagram hasn't been active since May, so she might not even be open anymore. Long story short, I wouldn't risk it.

Matching my jet black roots to my regular ashy, highlighted blonde has always been a challenge, and Courtney took it on with ease. Totally took my hair to the next level. She is a master of her craft with a salon as warm and welcoming as she is!
