I found it is disrespectful that one elder gentleman employee with strong accent intentionally closed off their restroom to their paying customers. This happened every weekday morning when he is behind the counter.I will not be too surprised to see they get in trouble with RCW 70.54.400 one day.

No propane. Can’t call, no one picks up. Save a trip, go somewhere else.

I made a special trip to this place because it USED (?) to be the only 24hr propane stop in town. Some old clown refused to give me any because now it wakes up the neighbors . .As I was putting my tank away; a transient walked up asking if she could sleep in my RV. I told her the Shell would be thrilled to have her sleep there.

Hispanic man working there in the morning needs schooling in Customer Service 101. I used to frequent this place several times a year without any problem when I was visiting and it was Chevron. He was rude and disrespectful when after a few times of my credit card not working at both the pump and inside--and dealing with a very painful injured foot when I wasn't expecting to have to walk inside. So I was somewhat annoyed. He said some cards don't work on the pumps. I never had that problem when it was Chevron. I explained my foot issue and frustration with not being able to get gas and I needed to get going on a long road trip. I was sternly told to be patient. He ended up pumping my gas (in a non attendant pump state) without a further word even after I thanked him. I'll never be back again.

Creepy middle eastern man kept asking me a bunch of personal questions then asked if I was traveling alone. Obviously I didn't answer and he kept trying to pester me about it. Fortunately I had paid by then so I just left.

This is no longer. They sold it. It is now a Shell with a very rude staff. I made the mistake of going in to ask how to put in my info for my QFC gallons discount and was not helped and also yelled at. So sad to see what used to be a very friendly helpful place go to the dogs.

It pains me to write a 2 star review but I'm afraid that's what this Chevron deserves lately. I say "lately" because a few months ago this was a 5 star place. The employees were always cool and friendly, the store is clean and there was just a general good vibe there. Not anymore. First, my wife used to buy lots of ice from them in the morning because the ice machine at the espresso stand she owns wasn't working very well for a month or so. She would buy 10 bags, maybe more, and the employees were even happy to help load them in her car. Well, one morning she was told they can no longer accommodate her because, and I quote, "another customer might want some." ??? I understand that (kinda), but it shouldn't matter whom buys the ice. Sold ice is sold ice. Anyway, not a big deal, but what's funny is the manager told me a few days later they'd love to have her buy her ice exclusively from them. By that time the ice machine was fixed anyway. Second, about 3 weeks ago they were unexpectedly not open at 6am - they're open 24 hrs. No note on the door..nothing. A few of us waited figuring the employee was using the restroom or cleaning in the back, but after 15 minutes we left. Later that day I came in and the manager overheard me asking the employee about it..he had no clue that happened. He apologized, but I wasn't upset..a guy on his motorcycle definitely was, though. Third, last week I came in to put air in my tire and to use the air machine you have to ask, and they turn it on for you. When I approached the door the 2 employees were outside on a break and I didn't want them to have to get up and go to the register just to turn on the machine so I said I have no problem waiting till their break was over. When their break was over I watched as 4 customers came in, so I waited another 5 mins or so, and when I saw no more customers I walked up to remind them and one guy nodded at me as if to say he got it. 2 mins.. nothing. 5 mins.. nothing. So I went in and 1 employee looked at me like I was d*** and had no clue what I was talking about. All he did was shrug his shoulders. I was walking back to my car when the other employee remembered and apologized. Finally. The machine was turned on Today, I go to get gas and the card reader was broken so I went in to pay cash. I forgot my mask but put my shirt up over my nose and mouth..I just needed to hand him and cash and walk right out. Well, he told me I needed a mask, which I understand, but wasn't planning on going in and didn't have one. He continued to carry on a conversation with the current customer and since I had no mask, and didn't want to get the employee in trouble I politely put a $20 on the counter, made eye contact and told him pump 3, and walked out. I watched thru the window as he finished with the customer and just sat down and opened his book. He didn't turn on the pump. I waited, then he made eye contact thru the window so I held up 3 fingers and pointed to pump 3. Nothing. Blank stare. So I go to the door poke my head in and he said he was trying to find me at a pump so he's know which to turn on. Completely not true. As I walked to my car another employee saw I was a little frustrated and in an aggressive, sarcastic tone, asked "Do we have a problem here?" I just put the gas in my car and left. I'll start using Shell down the street, or the other Chevron on the east side of 45th.
