won’t be going here again. me and my sister went to this store and the older woman at the register was following us around up until the point where she went to the back to grab an older man who started following us as well and trying to see what we would buy and it was all very awkward. I didn’t want the situation to escalate as I could tell the lady thought we were going to steal so we bought 2 SMALL keychains which came out to 47 DOLLARS?! Anyways after we bought and everything we went to leave and the lady followed us out as if we had something more than what we bought. Not sure if she did this bc we were black or young but either way I didn’t like the vibes.

Been coming here for 40 years now. They have a beautiful and thoughtfully curated selection of Japanese kitchenware and ceramics, and the range of tea is pretty extensive. Other favorite departments are the incense, the (small but nice) selection of office supplies, and the wall of cute pens! Really fun place to visit.

Me and my friends who are visiting seattle and never been went into this store and we’re told that they’ve “caught us stealing before” and that that we needed to leave. When we told them that we’ve never been here before they said they would call someone to have us removed. We were not able to explain that we have never even been before being forced out of the store. I am Japanese and was excited to see how this store represented us and to buy gifts for my friends at home but we were stereotyped just because we look young. Horrible experience made me cry.

A must to go in! Quality items and a nice store layout and presentation. We love these cat plates we took home. Stuffies (like Pusheen) are really expensive but the other items were reasonably priced.

The service is fine not great not bad. If you like Sanrio this is def the place for you! The selection goes from plushies to tea and even some really cool Fune China! It's not very expensive but it's not that cheap either.

Cute spot for all kinds of Japanese items. Lots of Sanrio in the back. Their gatcha set up is really cute too. They have expanded their section of teas and you can get a sample too. I like coming here for their dishwares and if I'm looking for a nice gift.

Really great shop! They had a good variety of items that were a bit over priced on some items, but good on others. Know what you are buying and it is a great place for everything from asain dishware, yukatas, cute pens, and cute plushies.

cute little shop. definitely heard the older woman behind the counter say something racist against ethiopian people (?). but other than that the other staff is really sweet and helpful.
