SIFF Cinema Uptown is a theater that screens indie films, art house, foreign, vintage, and documentary films. It is easy to get to via public transportation. The theater has a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of old Seattle. The staff is nice and the concession stand is great, with fairly priced concessions, including a $6 Monday deal. They also have a membership program that offers ticket discounts and a free popcorn card. The theater plays many first run movies, indies, and hosts film festivals, including the SIFF festival in May. The equipment may be a bit dated and the seats are not up to date, but the film selection is amazing and the vibe is unbeatable.
They screened my 48 hour film here and they play indie films that you won't likely see anywhere else outside of Siff franchise theaters ... only wish they had more chocolate things tho
Below are a couple of photos of myself with my co star for my 48 hour film that was screened here

Siff Uptown gets five star because of the quality of the films shown and it is easy to get to via public transportation. This is the place to see art house, foreign, vintage and documentary films. The seats are not up to date, but that is not a priority for me compare the films.
