For the second time in two tries, Sixt has canceled my family’s reservation with NO notice - no call, no email, no text - nothing. They just don’t have large cars. They won’t let you drop off in another city. Worst of all - they don’t communicate! We flew all the way across the country, late at night - no car.Luckily, a Sixt rep was able to connect us to Avis, so we got a car after an hour. Thank you to that gentleman. New Avis customer here.Never Sixt. Never again.

We tried to rent a car in August 25 and they were not available for rent the car but we paid and we did no use the rental car so we asked for refund and still not received any money back from them. We called them every time they told us between 3 or 5 days. Is already 3 months and we don’t have out money back. I’m recommending that you guys do not use this company at all. I want my money back.

Great experience start to finish. Friendly, fast, efficient check in. I was given complimentary upgrade without even asking. No attempt to upsell or pressure to take extra insurance. Return process was similarly friendly, fast and efficient. This will be my go-to Seattle car rental company.My sister used Thrifty rental for the same trip and it was busy and slow because of push to upgrade and to take insurance. She was a good 20 min longer getting out from the structure. Sixt is way to go.

We walked in and were greeted by Marzini who quickly found our information, provided the key and location of the car across the street in a public parking ramp along with a prepaid card to exit the ramp. The car was clean, in impeccable condition, and we were on our way! Very simple, quick and easy.

I've been a Sixt Gold member for almost 7 years and it looks like it's going downhill from what it used to be. What initially attracted me was competitive pricing, nice cars (you could often get a free upgrade), quick and knowledgeable staff. What I saw this time wasn't quite up to that standard. We showed up at our pick up time and were told our car (BMW X3) wasn't there yet. We were offered a GMC Acadia or a BMW sedan instead which is not something you'd want to drive if you paid for a premium SUV. We had to wait for an hour until the car finally arrived. The check-in process was very slow even though I booked the car and provided my information online months ago. The staff extended our rent time by an hour but didn't offer anything else to compensate for the wait time and inconvenience which was frustrating. The drop-off was also pretty slow as there was only one employee working the counter and it took forever for people in front of us to get all the car paperwork done.I really liked Sixt but in the world of Turo and Silvercar it makes me less likely to rent from them again in the future.

Slow. Hidden charges. False damage reprts. And late fee for their slow return when i dropped it off ontime. Long wait in the lobby for checking in, once I got to the counter the process was lengthy. They didn't have the car I reserved so I was given a much larger car. I was told to purchase the Toll pass for $13, but was not told this was a per day fee. Upon return, I dropped the car off on time, but the car was not actually checked in until 2 hours later and I was charged a $10 fee for their staffs laziness. I also received a damage report of a small dent they are charging me for. This is a fake report, I did not cause the damage. Could have been during the 2+ hours it sat, and in the hands of careless folks flinging around the vacuums in the tightly packed parking bays.

We arrived at Pike Place’s Sixth branch in the morning and Ms Marzini was so kind to host us, exceptional service and she guided us through the whole process seamlessly.Thank you Ms Marzini.Definitely coming back to Sixth and for sure Sixth have gained loyal customers out of us.

Prices are lower than the big names, and you get nicer cars! Our BMW X3 was terrific and $100 less for a week than a Toyota Corolla from the competition.

I'm so disappointed. On 9/2/2023 I arrived in Seattle, Washington. When I got to the car rental Sixt Rent a Car, I was in line for over two and a half hours! It was my understanding they did not have any cars available. I have MS and had to stand the entire time. I was in tears. I've never had something like this happen to me and I've never written a bad review, but this situation was so horrible. When I finally got the car I could barely stand. I can't believe this happened to me. Sixt Rent a Car didn't even tell people what was going on and we just stood there in line for hours waiting. Why wouldn't customer service even say anything to us about what was happening? This was such a terrible experience.

Spent 2 months in Washington, got a rental easily and had no issues. Car was clean and had no issues. I got a flat tire and got the car switched out immediately. Employee’s Hardy and Marzini were very welcoming and helpful with pickup and return.

First off I needed a 7 seater which I reserved in ample time but when I got there all they had was 5 seater so that was the first strike. All they said was sorry but that cause a big inconvenience to me and my company. Walked across the street to get the car. Employees were standing around, there was no walk around and then the car was wet with water spots and streaks all over is and the windows were all streaky. I waved over for an attendant to come over and clean the windows. After 10 more minutes I signaled again and they just stood there. I was on a time schedule so I had to leave. I stopped by Walmart and bought some glass cleaner and some paper towels to clean all the windows. I wanted to drop the car off at SEATAC airport instead of downtown but was told that it would be $54, $63 and some other amount to return the car to their airport location. I returned the car to the airport location and told the attendant when asked about some of the things that I had to do clean the windows, vacuum out the car, and she just smiled and nodded her head. I wanted to get back to difference between them, charging me for a seven seater opposed to a five seater. I booked through Priceline and called to tell them about the discrepancies, but I just wanted to get the difference back between a seven seater and five seater and no one can answer my questions or what I was charged? Sixt car rental denied my claim or even clarified if I was charged properly through Priceline. Nice car, poor customer service and never again! Should have stuck with Budget or Enterprise. Overall I just had a feeling they really didn’t care.

By far the easiest part of our trip was renting from Sixt! Easy pick up and return of a high quality vehicle that was a joy to drive. Staff was helpful, anticipating our concerns. Really, thought it would be much more complicated with long waits but it just wasn’t! It was the best experience.♥️

Good rental cars... We rented a BMW X5. I'd recommend doing a Walk around with video recording on, so as to have proof of what you received. Great service by them.

I was shocked the way I was nickel and dimed by this company. Every step of the way, there were more fees added on to my rental, which was already more than advertised (though that was an Expedia problem). But the desk person lied to my face, saying there weren't more fees, just to get me to finish my rental. I could clearly see there was $100 more than there was when I booked the car. Then, I get a stupid toll fee of $5 (for a $1.25 toll) and I'm told I could have opted for a "toll pass". That was never offered to me. Awful company. Didn't have the car that was promised, had to take a huge car that needed lots of gas. Filled the tank to the brim and they tried to charge me for a 3/4 tank. Will never rent from them again
