Watch out their RETURN policy. I bought a pair yesterday, brought back today due to fitting issue. I was told that it can’t be returned because I didn’t take the boxes yesterday even I left the box at the store. They may have quickly mentioned few words like “final sale” like the disclaimer lines in the commercial, so the owner have a reason to patronize me because I didn’t remember their one line disclaimer. They also mentioned other limits such as wearing outside, 14 days. Anyway, they said their policy, I didn’t fully captured it, it’s on me, but this doesn’t make it right as they happily accepted the facts customer may have issue down the line as long as the loss is 100% on someone else. Lesson here: if you buy here, make sure you take your boxes, don’t take off labels, don’t step outside, not a day pass 14 days, need to be prepared when you want to return, not a simple automated process without a question asked like some other places. Their shop, their rules, but just a heads up for my fellow shoppers.

It's about what you'd expect from an upscale shoe store. Expensive shoes but you get what you pay for - quality shoes and good service. My friend bought shoes here and seemed to have good service from those helping her but never felt pressured to buy things. Cute little shop in University village.

Customer service sucks, they act like they don’t want to work and help their customers. Awesome shoes though

Got a pair of Tsukihoshi here. They are relatively hard to find. The staffs are friendly and kind. The collection of shoes are excellent.

There is zero customer service. I had to beg to get help and then she just plumped the boxes of shoes down and left. Weird. Too expensive for the lack of service. I will never go here again.

Knowledgeable staff who always strive to help customers find stylish shoes to fit their needs and budget. I was so happy to see that they survived COVID and are still supporting the community.

Love, love love this shoe store! The selection of shoes is really diverse and they're excellent quality - one pair just isn't enough! The customer service was top notch (which isn't always the case in retail stores), they were friendly, helpful and I felt like they cared about how the shoes fit rather than just making a quick buck.I also really appreciated their mask policy and felt comfortable shopping.Would highly recommend and will be back for another pair!

Excellent customer service, and also made me feel safe by following the King County mask directive. I have never spent this much on shoes before, I LOVE them, they fit great and are excellent quality, no regrets!

What out for the RETURN Policy. I bought three pairs of shoes in a hurry one for my daughter and two for me. $400 on shoes pretty expensive but it was a cute shop and I thought of they didn’t fit my daughters is bring them back. Today o read the receipt before sending my daughters to return two of them the three pairs. Today was the 14th day and so I called and spoke to Nicole who assured me my daughters could exchange the two pairs but no credit back on my account even with the receipt and they’re brand new. My 16 year old daughter takes tow the buses to return them after I verified she could only to be told only one paid could be returned. I will never shop here again! Do yourself a favor and shop at Nordstrom. Better prices, more selection and an amazing return policy. Ugh too bad I will continue to share the horrible customer service shown to my daughters! They won’t stay on business long with this kind of service!!!

Rudest salesgirl ever. I pulled down my mask to take a sip on my coffee (no one around me, she was at least 10 feet away) and her hysterical shaming made me leave the store. If I am going to drop $300 on shoes, I’ll do it somewhere my business is appreciated, and I’m treated with basic respect. Also, if you’re that concerned about COVID, stay home and collect unemployment. No reason to open up just to virtue signal

Watch the return policy!!!! If you live a distance from U-Village and find you need to return your shoes, forget it!! Return policy is 14 days!! After 14 days no money back! A terrible policy! I will never buy from Sole Food again. Too many other stores I can buy Birkenstock’s. Too bad, was trying to support local.

Very helpful and friendly. They even told me about the other shoe stores and after visiting the a couple I went right back to Sole Food to purchase my shoes. Thank you staff!

Beware of their advertising. Signs on the store front indicate 30% off. No small print etc. Go thru the hassle of finding a size available and when you get to the till, major sticker shock when you find out it's only the tiny section at the back that is 30% off. And beware of finding shoes in these sections as if the stock is mixed up, it's apparently only the shoes with the small dot that are discounted. I've always liked shopping at this store, but am tired of the misleading signage.
