It’s not the best location since it’s right next to the loud Aurora Avenue, but you can easily walk to Wallingford and Fremont. It’s also easy to bus to Ballard. The rooms are just average. The pullout couch’s mattress had a huge dark stain on the bottom… and the furniture was all scratched up. The TV was in an awkward spot, facing neither the couch or the bed. There isn’t a bathroom fan, so it easily gets humid in there. On the plus side, the continental breakfast is pretty good, and they decorate for Halloween!

If you are attending an event at Woodland Park Zoo, I highly recommend Staybridge Suites. This is my second year. Large rooms, all with mini kitchenettes, quiet. Breakfast was pretty expansive except the egg omelet had meat in it (no vegetarian option). Underground parking. Clean, friendly staff, good location, comfy room... What more could you ask for? Not much!!

Had a surprisingly pleasant experience here. Stayed with a party of 3 in a 2 bedroom suite. The suite itself was of good condition. The front service staff was knowledgeable and hospitable. All hotel staff were kind and professional. The breakfast buffet was spectacular. We used the pool and gym which were also in good condition. Even hit up the social hour and got the opportunity to meet other hotel patrons. Would definitely come again and recommend.

It was awful and the staff didn’t care if you were getting your peace and quiet or not. There was a family above us and the kids were running from room to room. Called the front desk and was told there was nothing they can do until 10pm. Even after 10pm the family was noisy. This is not what I expected from an IHG property nor a StayBridge. This property is absolutely less than desirable due to the staff not caring for their guests. Paid $417 for the room and zero assistance from the staff even after 10pm.

Had room 217 Two Bedroom Suite at a cost of $417 p/n, and had absolutely one of the worst stays in Seattle. One of two elevators were out of service so VERY long wait times. I chose Staybridge as this is a Priority Hotel for my business. So first of all their Credit Card Terminals didn’t take my Debit Cards with the MasterCard Logo on it. Got that resolved and then the people above us was like a heard of animals running from room to room with probably 3 kids. Front desk stated they couldn’t do anything about it until 10pm and they made it seem that it was my problem and they made me feel that I was the problem. Even after 10pm the noise above only continued in the bedroom area in which was the one that I was sleeping in. I describe this hotel as kid friendly as there were many kids in the above room that the problem. Not even an apology from the hotel front desk. The hotel didn’t handle the situation. The breakfast and the reception evening appetizers were less than to be desired. This is definitely not what I expected from an IHG property or a Staybridge Property.

This hotel is right next to busy road and if you get a room on front side, you might hear road noise. Otherwise breakfast was good and rooms maintained well.

We stayed the night here after going to Woodland Park Zoo. Very close location and not too downtown to get the homeless and drug problem. Very clean hotel, kids love the pool, and the rooftop deck view is great. A lot of amenities that we didn’t get a chance with only one night stay. Laundry services are free as long as you bring your soap. We got the 2 bedroom suite, had 2 bathroom and a pull out couch with a kitchenette. My only set back is paying to park in the garage and how low clearance the garage is, also when we stayed in August there was flooding in the lowest level. But it seems typical in downtown Seattle to pay the garage parking.

We had a reservation for this hotel and it was booked many months in advance, we called the day of our reservation to tell them we would be arriving late because of our flights. We get to the hotel past 11 pm at night and were told they were at capacity and that they had booked us a free night at another hotel some where else. However, we were staying with other people who had gotten another room and their room was ready for them so we would have had to stay at 2 different hotels. On top of that, we had just sent our taxi away and when we asked what we should do about a ride to the other hotel and if they were going to compensate us for this inconvenience, the rude and very unhelpful lady at the desk who was apparently a supervisor said she can’t help us with that and it would have to come out of our pockets. Just be careful if you’re arriving later in the day and this is the place you wanna stay, they don’t honor their reservations and overbook.
EDIT:
Went back the next morning to talk to someone else about this situation, and we had the pleasure of speaking to Ryan. Ryan was more than helpful, he had a warm and welcoming personality and was compassionate about the problems we had experienced the night before. He went above and beyond to make this situation right and we finally got compensated for the room we were supposed to have.

The curtains in the rooms don't close and it's super bright out all night, plus there were weird utility sounds you could hear at night, too. And the gym is very limited and kind of sad.

Derek and the staff were very friendly and communicative. We loved Derek’s neckties that showcased his personality.
The rooms were pristine but a bit worn if you have keen eyes, though an incredible amount of space and comfort for the rate.

The American West is famous for its gold rushes. This hotel has found its goldmine. The hotel is expensive, the hotel is dirty, the rooms are small, the insulation of the rooms is almost non-existent. Everything is old, smells old and damp, the photos are misleading and do not represent the hotel at all. Everything is noisy, this hotel is filthy.

The hotel was nice - once we were inside. But the neighborhood is very dangerous with many seedy characters. Several cars got broken into during our stay. We did not feel safe here.
