Kym is awesome. Great cut and great chat. The ambiance of the shop is fantastic. Excellent service all around. I’ve been traveling all over the past few months and this was the best haircut I’ve had in a long time!

I have been getting my regular haircuts here with Lorena for the past few years and she always does a consistently great job, where I always come out of there looking much better than when I arrived. The rest of the staff is also very kind and helpful. This is a top notch barbershop and I happily keep coming back even though I do not live in Ballard anymore.

Great experience overall, the service, location, and decor are really top notch. Would’ve easily been a five-star review if not for the background music, which was totally incongruous with the overall vibe. If it were a Spotify playlist, it’d be called “Step-Dad Barbecue” or “NASCAR Tailgate.” Basically your boomer parents’ favorite 80s hair bands. Hopefully they’ll fix it before I go back.

Great place to get hair cut! I’ve been trying longer hairstyles as a male, and Virginia gave me a great hair consultation! She shaped my hair to help it transition into the hairstyle I’d like with much longer hair. Great service, and awesome hair stylist!

EDIT: I'm redacting my old review, but the summary of it was that my first experience wasn't great. I was reached out to by the owner and requested to give the experience another shot. I had a great experience my second time and I now feel good about recommending this place for a haircut. It really helps that Matt, the owner, is proactive and takes feedback.I was informed during my haircut that they are working on being able to do straight edges for beards. I think that'll take a great experience to one that I'd definitely recommend.

Kenney is the best barber hands down. He started cutting my hair while I lived in Ballard. I have since moved to the east side and I will continue to make the long drive to ensure he is my barber. Highly recommend!!

Steele is a great spot in Ballard for a efficient professional haircut. I’ve found my ‘regular’ here, Kenney, who always does a great job, has an amazing attention to detail, and is just an all around great person. It can be tough to find that ‘match’ when it comes to barbers, but Kenney made it easy :)
