ABOUT SUB POP WATERFRONT
April 1, 2026: In celebration of (and almost entirely coincidentally timed with...) Sub Pop's 38th anniversary, we have opened a dazzling new store on Seattle's also dazzling new downtown waterfront. Located at 908 Alaskan Way S, directly across the street from the new ferry terminal, Sub Pop Waterfront features t-shirts, hats, hoodies, various knick-knacks, trinkets, and objets d’art conspicuously emblazoned with the words “Sub Pop,” as well as a wide selection of actual records (vinyl LPs, CDs, probably some cassettes!), a bunch of really nice music and art-themed books, and fascinating Sub Pop Records ephemera on display throughout.
Move on up to the (Sub Pop) Waterfront!

It's a shop, so manage your expectations based on that but there's plenty to look at in the room. Staff always polite and they seem to have the memorabilia thing down without losing sight of the fact they have a future. Love it here.

Very cool shop. I'm a grunge fan from way back and wasn't leaving Seattle without going to Sub Pop.

Friend asked if I could pop in here and get him a t-shirt. No idea this place existed and what an eclectic array of merchandise was on offer. Asked the guy behind the counter what were the most popular t-shirts and grab the 2 top sellers. Oh and there were plenty of vinyl records on sale as well.
